hi i am a Filipina marrying an American guy. we already submitted requirements and applications needed for fiance visa and paid $500.

They sent confirmation message that they received the application. our problem is we never heard anything from them anymore, its been already 3 months.

what do you think is the reason of delay?

did you receive confirmation by email from uscis?did you receive the noa1?mine,i mean my fiancee recieves an email from uscis then after 3days they sent the noa1.im also a new member here but my thoughts for you is to call uscis.

tell him to call he is the one that should be following up and it is easy for him with us numbers 1-800

If you look at your timeline it is predicting early Jan for your NOA2. Just relax things slow up this time of year

its just frustrating..lol reading some of "timeline process" of the other.. it only took them few days to recive notice.. we are both young thats why we dont know anything.. im only 23 and he is 28 but both stable :)

Not all cases have the same timelines. It will come. Make yourself busy with other stuff because waiting is frustrating.

AOS Process

2010-12-30------------Sent I-485, I-765, & I-131

2011-01-10------------Received NOA1 for AOS, EAD, & AP

2011-01-18------------Biometrics letter received

2011-02-07------------Case transferred to CSC

2011-02-10------------Biometrics in Detroit

2011-02-28------------Permanent Resident Card Production Ordered

2011-03-07------------Green Card and Welcome Letter received

Not all cases have the same timelines. It will come. Make yourself busy with other stuff because waiting is frustrating.

in person june 2009

in person may 2010

filed fiance visa june 28 2010

check encashed july 2, 2010

received message july 12, 2010

No, don't call. You won't get any information. It's only been three months, and USCIS lists five months as the processing time. Until then, you won't get any answers from anyone, except to be told to call back when it's past five months. I know waiting is hard, but there isn't anything we can do about it.

thank you for all replies.. waiting is really frustrating.. its hard to be apart and we just cant wait to be togther. :( its just we want to celbrate xmas and newyears togethr..

It is frustrating, definitely. But it's out of our hands. For Christmas/New Year's, you can always visit! :)

he gonna be here on december but unfortunately he can only be here for 3 weeks. he cant stay longer coz of work

3 weeks is better than 0 weeks. :) Just have to look on the bright side of things. Your time will come soon.

Yeah that's all you can do, unfortunately. My fiance and I are absolutely dying waiting through this process, but he's coming here for a week in Oct then I'll go out there to be with him for New Year's. Hopefully after January we have a better idea of when this visa will be approved.

Naturalization Process (FINALLY!)

05.29.14 - N-400 filed

06.02.14 - Packet received at the Lewisville Texas Center

06.05.14 - Check cleared

06.04.14 - NOA date

06.13.14 - Biometrics letter received

07.02.14 - Biometrics appointment

07.07.14 - In line

07.17.14 - 'Yellow Paper' date

09.10.14 - Interview scheduled NOA date

10.15.14 - Interview date

10.15.14 - RFE (missing documentation)

10.21.14 - RFE response received in NYC facility

11.04.14 - Oath ceremony scheduled, approved!

11.19.14 - Oath ceremony (8:30am) in Brooklyn - Completed! DONE WITH USCIS!
