I wish i had found this site before sending off my I-130, now i feel like i didnt even try, I sent it on the 7th of sept, they rcvd it on the 9th and i got a confirmation text message with a recipet number which i then was able to view at the USCIS website...no hardcopy of NOA1 yet...so thats where i currently am, now my questions!! The things i included in my I130 were:

Electronic confirmation form

Cover sheet (OMG i didnt sign it!!!!)

I130

G325A with passport photo for benificiary

G325A with passport photo for me Petitioner

copy of all pages from my passport

wedding certificate certified with apostile from BIH

(cld international from which has translation on back)

wedding photos

photos of when we first met 2yrs ago

honeymoon photos

copies of airline ticktes, passport stamps showing entry to bih

copy of reciept of gift sent to him for his birthday

And i didnt have much else to include, had chatlogs that i was going to include but laptop crashed and everything was lost. Now what i noticed other users were also including was a summary of how they met, statements from relatives or friends, etc. Now i feel my application was very bare!

Also as of right now i am currently unemployed, i wanted to spend time with my husband and plan our wedding and have a honeymoon so i did have to give up my job, will that affect this process? I plan on using my parents as co-sponsors but i can only use one correcT? what if they file theyre taxes jointly? do i just send his/hers W4's?

For the future, after my application is approved i did read through alot of other posts with all information needed, but with their being beneficiaries and petitioners out there both posting it got me alittle confused as to what he needs for himself, do i need to send my husband some required documents? he does have a I130 copy, wedding certificate, my birth certificate, and thats about it, does he need my tax documents to take or send for his interview? He is going to the US embassy in Sarajevo Bosnia will it be a problem that he doesnt speak english?

AND last question i Promise :D since i sent the electronic confirmation form do i need to call the service center once im there to register email adresses for him and me or will the one i uncluded on the from just be whats used!

UGH im so confused and im soo sorry for this long post, any help will greatly be appreciated!! Thanks to all and i hope everyone a very speedy journey! :bonk:

and plan our wedding HUH?

Get 3 years of tax transcripts for your sponsor from IRS. 800 829 1040. That's all you need. Your hubby will need copies at his interview. Also he'll need evidence of a bonafide relationship..

Check out the Wiki section of this website and search for LingChe shortcut - it will make your life so much easier if you read this and prepare BEFORE your approved application goes to NVC.
