Hi!

My wife, Yi, has just had her case completed by the NVC! !YAY! No we're waiting for the consulate in Guangzhou to receive it... grrr I've heard it can take such a long time :'(

We asked my Brother-in-Law to be our joint sponsor based upon advice by a visa agent. All of my family members offered to do it, but she suggested my Sister and him would make the best choice (my parents are retired, my other sister has a larger family... etc...) anyhow, We've gotten to the completed stage.

They've been great. Though a bit slow, which put a real hamper on our case's speed.

I'm wondering if I should get my employer to sign a new proof of employment letter. I also asked my sister and brother-in-law to provide some recent copies of their paystubs. Is this good? or is what we have sent off to the NVC ok?

Hey.

If you weren't using NVC Electronic Processing,

then yer in for a bit of a wait. Anywhere from 1 to 4 months before Guangzhou even opens up the casefile.

If you have a GZO prefix on the casefile #, then you are an 'EP' case, and things will go fast.

Regardless, ff you have 'updated info' for the I-864, yer wife can 'hand it over' on interview day.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
