Minor Child included with Spouse F2A petition?

Will my minor child be automatically included with my wife s petition as a derivative beneficiary? I am a green card holder and I already received the DS 3032 and affidavit of support invoice from the NVC but I dont see my childs name in all of NVC correspondence. Does my child automatically gets a visa when my wife gets one and theres no need to file a separate petition for my child? Is there a form to fill up to inform NVC to include my child?

Hello..uhmm you should have inquired about that at USCIS when you first filed your wife. If you intend to include your minor child then in my opinion, his/her name should appear in all your files or correspondence. Have you asked NVC about that? You better inform them while it's not yet too late. By the way can I ask what month/date you received your NOA2 (Notice of Approval) letter from USCIS? I just got my approval letter this week so I'm just wondering when I will be expecting to receive DS-3032..Thanks..

I guess your child is born after you were filed your I-130. Now you call NVC and tell them you have child to be included, they will ask you to fax birth certificate of child, You need to include child name in DS-230 visa application form which you will be sending to NVC once you complete your avove step i.e. DS3032 & AOS. Thats all it and your child will get visa with your wife. Good luck.

I think we are in the same boat, My mom got the approval letter (notice date)8/30/10 ans still waiting to hear from NVc(notice type Unmarried Child under the 21 of LPR. so pease update if you get anything.
