Pre Departure Seminar for Minor

Hello fellow Vj'ers. Justwanna ask a quick question . My kids were granted an IR2 visa .My questions are:

1. Do we need the kids to attend the pre-departure seminar?

2. Where is it gonna be?

3. Does it need an appointment? and how much is the fee?

I will only be staying in Manila for 6 days and so I wanna know all about this?

How old are the kids?

According to the CFO website:

Those who are 12 years old and below are exempted from attending the PDOS. They must, however, be registered, even if by proxy. Children of emigrants, aged 13 to 19, are required to attend the Peer Counseling Program to help facilitate their adjustment to a new environment.

If they meet the age requirement for the PDOS, they also have to attend the Peer Counseling Program.

Otherwise you just register them, and they will be exempted from the PDOS and the Peer counseling. Php 400 is the fee for registration...so Php 800 for 2 kids, basta they're 12 years old and below.
