Here I found this for you since its canada specific.

" OF-167 Attachment is a single-page document with several paragraphs describing specific means-tested benefits for which the immigrant is not eligible, and a place for the US Citizen to sign, clearly stating that should the immigrant use any means-tested benefits, the USC will pay them back.

For a K1 visa, the I-134 is used as the principle document of financial disclosure, and the OF-167 Attachment supplements that form. Both are required at the interview.

The OF-167 Attachment should be included in the Packet 3 set of forms received from the Vancouver consulate. If it isn't, you can request it from them. In our case, we had the USC complete and sign it, and have it notarized with the other forms he needed to have done. I believe that the Consular Officers can also witness the signature on site if the USC is present. "

I talked to someone at the USCIS and they stated only bring what is requested in the letter. I also read the website and there are some extra documents that the website ask for, which I told the person on the phone. Let me know what happens!

OF-167 is not a USCIS paper, it is a DOS paper and it is a new "form" requested by the vancover consulat apparently. As stated in my post above its not an actual form, its a sheet of means tested benefits that the immigrant is NOT ALLOWED to have and the US citizen has to sign it saying they understand the immigrant cannot collect thos things or else they will be paying back for everything that is used by the immigrant.

Here was their response to me today.

The Form I-134, Affidavit of Support, may be required when the consular officer deems it useful. The supporting documents could be any of the following: his employment letter pay stubs, bank letter, bank statements , tax return.

The I-134 is a required paper for K-1 at the embassy stage. If you dont have it, you get a slip of paper and have to collect it and sent it. You wont be approved without it.

I have the I134, that was never the issue. It was always the OF167 that I couldnt find. Upon reading the response from the consulate, and reading again the consulate information here, it is edited out that as of Dec.20 2009 the OF167 is no more. The consulate never asked for it in their email.

Ill go to the interview without it, and if it is required of me, then I will update this thread.
