Fiancee Petition (K1 VISA) pending at USCIS-CSC

Petition for my fiancee is pending since 02-16-2010. Our case is now 2 months out of normal processing time.

But I see all most every week, my case gets touched 1-3 times. What dose that mean, nothing is happening.

When I sent inquiries, I get response back that background check is not complete. Are those touches are

because they answer to my inquiries or they are doing anything with my file. Is anyone have answer to this

please share. Now recently, there was a touch on September 15th, 16th, and now today 17th. But case status

is still in intial review. What is going on??? Anyone have answer to it???

Please call into USCIS sometime soonish

and

ask for an ISO, Tier 2 Human - see http://www.dhs.gov/xabout/structure/gc_1221837986181.shtm#5

Once you get an ISO on the phone, ask them

--what's the status on the case?

--are namechecks complete?

--what's holding up the approval ?

In the mean time, a Tier 2 Human, an ISO, can cover MOST over the phone, same as what one would learn at an infopass appointment.

Yea , my wife have even talked to tier 3 several times , and there is no good .lol.

you really mean 'there is no good for my casefile'

Please don't make sweeping statements based solely on YOUR experience - it's disengenious to those who truly have a need to 'get info' - a Tier 2 Human can get much info to anyone over the phone.

I don't want to put you down or anything, But if they are really welling to help you , they would make inquiries for you or if you have made a mistake in your form they can fix it at the same time instead of you sending letters and bla bla bla.NOT LESS NOT MORE.

They cant.. They can only provide a status update or flag the file/case to be reviewed... they as an individual cant really do anything.. at very best they could update an address or something of that nature.. As darnell said.. what happened to you may not be what happens to others as it was not what happened to myself or many others I have discussed the process with..

The system is very limited and if you get to the right person you can ask specific questions, but one shoud not expect much more than te results o the questins Darnell mentioned..

They COULD actually change my bday, my marriage date,and i have received a NOA for it , and if they CAN change address on form so i guess they CAN change some other info in there too MR Scott.
