1. Fill out your timeline.

2. What did you file? I-129F (for K-3) or just I-130?

USCIS is now processing I-130s with NOA1 dates in early April. For 129F, they are still stuck in March. You might have a bit of wait unfortunately...

I advise you to look at the VJ “Processing Times.” This is gives you a pretty accurate average time frame that petitions are being processed. Thus, depending on the type of petition you applied for, you most probably are in the “average” time frame stage currently. I would not panic as of yet. If you go (30) days past the average time then I would call the USCIS and inquire regarding your case. Yes, it is tuff to be patient. However, hang in there and God Bless.

3 months? whoa - yer not really having some freak-out, yet, right?

USCIS posted 'times' are right at 5 months,

with the caveat (from USCIS tele-operators) that it could go as much as 6 months.

If you really submitted the I-129F for a K-3 visa, though - I'm sorry to say -

you've added in anywhere from 2 to 11 weeks MORE of 'wait time'.

So, for now, be patient, start to freak out around day 151 from the NOA-1 receipt date. 180 days might be OK as well.

IF it's prior to 150 days, it's a blessing.

You think it's bad now?

Wait till you finish up the case processing at NVC -

cause then, for GHANA -

you must wait some more - as any spousal visa interviews have been suspended for the last few months, with out any real 'notice' of when the IV Unit at the Embassy will restart them.
