Wow! That was quick. Congratulations! It seems like just yesterday you were RFE'd.

:)

Yeah, it was quick. My fiance's interview was exactly 3 weeks from NOA2. Luckily, the Lima consulate is fast, and I emailed them as soon as they got my petition and asked for an interview date. They gave me one for 5 days later! it was a struggle to get the birth certificate and medical done in time, but Jimmy pulled it off! yay! He'll be arrive in 9 days!

Congratulations! I'm so happy (and jealous) for you guys! I wish the London Embassy was as quick as the Lima one. Am still waiting for them to log our application from NVC.

Awesome Mike D! That's like a few weeks away!

We're still waiting on the embassy to receive our case. NVC says they sent it on 3/15. Embassy says they have nothing and to contact NVC. Called NVC numerous times and finally voiced my concern that our case might be lost. They gave me an email address to write to: nvcinquiry@state.gov. I wrote them and they told me to contact the embassy. What a bunch of $hit. No responsibility; no accountability. It's really scary actually.

Hi dogspot! I don't know if this information will help you but I thought I share it anyway. When I called the US Embassy in Manila to confirm if they received our petition yet and the representative told me that they only the email from NVC about our petition. So I'm thinking maybe they have an email from NVC about your petition. I hope everything will be okay...

Do you guys know anything about this government shutdown? I'm seeing that they are talking about doing this government shutdown if they don't come to an agreement about budget by april 8th. That would mean , no visas until they get back up and started again. I'm a little worried about it - anyone else know more than i do?

Thanks, Miked. We received an email from the embassy today and her interview is scheduled for June 3rd. Seems like so far off but at least we now have a date.
