well it might not be 5 months (are you looking at only the I-130 USCIS time frame? add time for NVC, embassy interview) but the shorter time will apply for his mother. siblings i'm sorry to say is the several years time frame.

UNLESS, they are minors who would be coming over with his mother....

I disagree, while a parent does take est. 5 months for an approved case with no bumps the nvc process does take am additional 1-3 months so you're looking at approx. 7-9 months. Any minor WILL NOT accompany any parent because there isn't available for them. Work around might help but only if the child is under 10yrs old.

Directly filing for a brother or sister would take about 8-10 years with regards to the current timeline/bulletin. This category does give the benefit of Having minor children/spouse to accompany the primary applicant.

There is no derivative visa for minor children when you petition parents.
