We will be filing our I-751 next week.My question is we moved from Kansas to Florida last year mailed the proper form of change of address but never heard any word after that.By moving to Florida we will now be using TSC,before it was NSC. We now have our house forsale and will be moving to Houston,Texas probably before this stage completes.Anyone have a similar case or what do you all think mightr be a problem . Lyle

HI! Everytime you move you need to file the Ar-11 and I-865 forms .

If you are going to file the I-751 you should check what Sevice Center should the I-751 filed since you are moving .If you are moving to Houston you need to file your I-751 mentioning your Houston Adress as a new adress in the form i guess.

Best Wishes (F)

Sincerely.

Kansas--->Florida, you had no outstanding events with USCIS. You should have filed AR-11 and I-865 like you did, and heard nothing, like you did.

When you file I-751, you can record a new MAILING address via the form. You will also file AR-11 and I-865 per normal, but this time, I would also send a copy of AR-11 to the DO and the SC. You can find my suggested change of address directions by searching my name for 'overkill'.

If there is any way you can wait to file I-751 until after your move, or if you can use your new address on the I-751, that will help avoid the potential problems you will face if you move Service Centers.

If you have to do it that way, use my 'overkill' instructions AND send letters to both Service Centers asking for your file to be transferred. Notify your old DO and your new DO as well.

You have to work pretty hard to change your address when you have a case pending.
