Hello!

I was just wondering, are LUDs/ "last update" a big deal in AOS process? I had my biometrics last August 27, 2010 and until now(sept 16, 2010)i don't have any LUDs on my AOS forms and i-765. Does anyone here have the same problem or was APPROVED eventhough they didn't have any LUDs/ "touch" on their USCIS portfolio?

Your replies will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much. I hope you can help me with my questions.

I had no touches. A lot of people have no touches. All my touches only showed up when my visa was approved and card production ordered.

The case worker does not have to scan your petiton when he/she looks at it so case touches arent something to really go by.

Thanks Inky  But from your Timeline it says there that you had a "touch" the following day after biometrics...

Got worried there, i thought they forgot about my case, because most people have touches immediately after their Biometrics.

I was worried from no touches too, my friend had even less touches than I had, even when her production was ordered no touches were logged for her at all.

They are not necessarily accurate, so don't worry.

I wonder, however, are you sure you are looking at the right place? You have to sign up for an account, and then on the portfolio list, there will be a "last update" date. You don't get a text or an email or anything like that.

Edit: Please fill in your timeline and mention what visa you are adjusting from, so we can help you more :)

What visa are you adjusting from? Usually, only those adjusting from a K visa get transferred to CSC. The rest of us, adjusting from a work, student, or tourist visa, have to go to interviews. blush.gif

Here is a file that shows the May filers' timelines. You can use it to compare to your timeline. We found that it typically took 3-4 months from filing to green card. If you are patient, try reading through the May 2010 thread under AOS from w/s/t progress reports, there is good information in there for what we experienced. There is also a lot of kidding around, but hey, we were bored. laughing.gif

Edited to actually attach the stupid file. Sigh.

Yeah, it is. Although the system worked well for me, there were others that seemed to never get touches. I wouldn't worry yet. What service centre are you with? Certain ones were slower than others - NYC and Atlanta come to mind. You can also call USCIS, it doesn't hurt to check.

ETA: Urgh, NYC. Doesn't show up in the post when you are typing a reply. These definitely did take longer.

I totally see why you are frustrated. Touches appeared before and now after biometrics you didn't get the confirmation that it was updated. Still, no need to worry. The system doesn't work too well. You can always call USCIS and try to see if your biometrics have been entered, but they might just scare you and make you freak out more. I did so much worrying and everything went perfectly.

You have your biometrics letter with the stamp on it, right? You could also make Infopass and get them to confirm that biometrics are not lost, if you like.

I am pretty sure your case is fine, and I bet most of these efforts to confirm that would just make you miserable though.

To your question: Yes, MSC is NBC, and your EAD and AP will be processed through there. Your case will be transferred to your local NYC office when it is time to schedule your interview. There will be no touches for that transfer or the arrival of your interview letter. NYC was a bit slow this summer, but not as slow as Newark... that was eww... ;)

Good luck!

Thank you again for the advice Harpa. yes, i think i'll just wait and see, and if it doesn't go through after 75-90 days i'll just go for the infopass.
