I really liked Michael's dress the most tonight!

Laura's-- was pretty and I know she won and all, but to me it still looked a bit "old lady" on the top.

Jeffrey's--ewww, an early 1990's pre-teen's outfit?

Vincent's--what?? That's what you make when you get a second chance?

Angela's--what the heck? Again, that's what you make when you get a second chance? They both proved they don't deserve to be there.

Kayne's--I didn't mind the front, but the back was weird.

Uli's--didn't like the sleeves and as others said, she keeps making the same type of flowy dresses over and over.

Go Michael! :star:

Cannot believe that I had to watch Vincent and Angela again tonight !! YIKES !! Good thing they get booted out for the second time !

Didn't like any of the dresses, Michael's and Laura's were the best.

Uli was really boring. The only good thing about Uli's design was the long "garlic" necklace, it was definitely useful to repel Angela's vampire dress :P

I think the final three will be Michael, Laura and Jeffrey. I don't like Jeffrey but I prefer to see his collections in FW rather than a bunch of halter-neck-flowy-tank-top-dresses a la Uli. Besides, Jeffrey makes a good TV, just as Santino did.

Can someone explain where Laura had moved on and learnt it was the same thing in different fabric and more boring than ever (ditto Uli's)

Kayne so missed the point of the exercise and Jeffreys was a tarts outfit! (both stayed or left on previous efforts)

Vincents was dull drab blahhhhhh

I actually liked the deisgn tho not shiny fabric of Angelas and thought it was closet to the edge while sticking to the plot (which Jeffreys didnt .....remind me never to wangle an invite to a LA cocktail party if thats whats to be worn)

Michael I just dont seem to "get" to me having lived through the off the shoulder era and hot pants (twice) he doesn't seem to have an original POW idea ........ whearas I would say some of the finer details of both Angelas an Uli's do

But what does this never seen out of trousers girl know (huuby has only ever seen me in a dress once on our wedding day  )

OMG I LOVED Michael's....>LOVED IT. I thought it was SO cute. Laura's looked so Ann Taylor'ish...but I still thought it was old lady...

I actually liked KAyne's. I thought the back was really cool.

COME ON MICHAEL. He's got to win :) OVer all he's the best designer

I agree with Widge - I didn't think Laura's dress looked vastly different from the other stuff she has done in the past. Liked it, though I think I liked Michael's more. Of all of the designers, he seems the most versitile.

Uli's was OK, but I am getting sick of the same ole Miami/St Tropez stuff that she always does.

Jeffrey's looked like a hooker from the 80's.

Kayne's - OK from the front, but didn't like the back. And where the hell was the white?

Not going to say anything about Vincent and Angela because I can't believe they brought them back. Ick. Glad to hear that Jia is modeling again though.

Laura - I loved the dress, I would have bought it right away...it was cute and young. I really really liked it.

Michael - He understands a woman's body. I really liked that he went for the white in a cocktail dress.

Uli - oh well "she likes hot wessa" - as Michael Kors said it. For some reason she starts to bore me.

Kayne - I'm glad Mr. ChubbyChub is out. I never really liked him and all he does is friggin pageant dresses, just a little too much sometimes.

Jeffrey - Pfff, I thought it was ridiculous and looked like Madonna back in the days just without the hairdo.

Angela + Vincent - well, there was a reason they were voted out before, right? Angelas model looked like she was about to go to space and Vincent...well, nothing really to get off on, huh?

EXACTLY!!!!!! i kept expecting her to bust out with a rendition of "like a virgin"... i think the only thing that kept him in this week was the fact that kayne didnt use white fabric for the dress

jeffrey is really showing what an a$$ he is... i cant believe he won the couture challenge... that looked like something i draped over one of my barbie dolls when i was a little girl from one of my mothers scraps... he is definitely only there for the same reason santino was... unfortunately, he will probably be in the final 3... but he wont win... watching his reactions to angela and others just shows how immature and childish he is... and why give him $100,000 to start a line when all he will do is pi$$ off clients?

I thought it was hilarious that they brought Vincent and Angela back... good back biting moments there... LOL

Ok...

Laura - I really did like it and thought she made it younger with the fringe. I'd agree that her's was the best this week.

Uli - -_--_--_- Been there, done that...only shorter.

Michael - I liked it, but wasn't that crazy about the belt.

Kayne - I liked it better than the judges and didn't think the back was bad...but you gotta follow the rules. Where was the white?

Jeffrey - didn't like that mess at all. I stand by my opinion that they keep him around, just like they did Santino, for the friction.

Angela & Vincent - for godsake...if you are given a second chance, design your ####### off!!!

I guess my question would be: Who the heck is designing Heidi's outfits?

I think Michael will win. Not only does he have the talent, he has the right attitude too. Attitude takes you a looong way, leaving lots of others far behind.

Frances,

Felt a sense of deja vu so went back a few pages. And sure enough, last week your thoughts were the closest match to mine also. Thanks for writing my post for me.

i can't wait to see what they do for fashion week! i wish i could go see it... i think they are showing on friday...

i think michael should have won this last one, but i think they just wanted to give it to laura since she hadn't won one before and had make a much better effort than last weeks frilltastic mess.

season 1 winner jay is also showing at fashion week with his collection at last. i hope it was worth the 2 years (i was rooting for kara saun).

all the comments here from last night's show are pretty similar .... just like the designer's freaking outfits from week to week!

when are they going to break out of their shell and really show us that they know how to design more than a few different ideas!!?!?!?!? UGH! *shakes fist*

i swear that's the only reason they brought angela and vincent back ... because it's getting really boring ....

sucks too, because i really enjoy the show! :D

nayalamb,

I'm not sure, because the disclaimer after each episode goes by pretty quick, but I believe there's something in there to the effect that the producers have a say in the outcomes, it's not just the judges' fashion sense that determines the winners and losers.

Anyone, who can read fast, or with a DVR, who can clarify?
