Just watched tonight's episode. Vincent is OUT !!! FINALLY !!!

I think his dress was ugly, nothing "couture" about it at all. He deserved to get auf'd and not to be mean, but I'm glad he's gone. If I have to listen to him saying "It turns me on" one more time, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to smash my television... :D

:lol::thumbs: I agree.

As much as I don't like Jeffrey, I think his dress was brilliant, I love the color.

Yeah I also have to agree! I still think he's a punk, but he does a pretty good job. When he was buying the fabric I thought "yuck!" but then seeing it together, I actually liked it. It was very unique/funky yet elegant IMO.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

i dont like that show,, sorry

 good for you...

Aaaaanyway... I didn't like Jeffery's dress at all, especially the plaid. It was a little too out there for me.

I liked Uli's the best. Nice and soft, but yeah, I agree that she needs to step out of her comfort zone.

Michael...I was worried about him because of the problem he had with the rouching (sp?), and on TV, it probably didn't show as bad as it did in preson... just glad he sqeaked by...

Laura....can anyone say CLOWN????

Kayne... too busy and I didn't like the tie-up back at all. :dead: Strange he never seems to take Tim's impression into account. Last week Michael did, when it came to changing the jacket to a shirt and it had him almost winning.

Vincent...I thought he borrowed one of Angela's rosettes for the model's back!

I still haven't recovered from Malan going and then Angela so refuse to tip anyone lol After last week BORING uninspired effort and this weeks appalling style/fit (and the smug comment I make coiture for a living) couldn't hide glee at Vincent getting da boot.

Uli's outfits are usually beautiful but are always variation on a theme and not new ideas

Laura has amazing cut but again always same dress rehashed another way (this weeks has to be worst yet)

Michael think I miss something his two winning outfits didnt do it for me esp the hotpants but he is always spot on with challenge and different to week before

Kaine I actually liked this weeks but he has done some ####### - reckon with the number of warnings of lack of taste he has got his days must be numbered

which of course only leaves Jeffrey to win the thing he has a definite eye and originality if only he hadnt got such a selfish bad mouth (shoulda gone out the week of Angela's mom his outfit was appallinggggggggg)

I have this sneaky feeling though Uli who has never won a challenge will sneak through under the radar Miss Mediocrity rising from the ashes - she certainly learned from last weeks comments whereas some dont seem to hear what is being said to them ............. definitely compulsive viewing lol

Frances,

Agree.

Agree. I often like her outfits, and hadn't noticed the 'sameness' that others have. (I'm not suitable to be a fashion critic, I like what I like whether it's 'new' or 'stale'.)

Agree that he had a tough time and not up to par, but 'shoe in' given Laura and Vincent's efforts.

I had expected Laura to go.

I seem to like Kayne's outfits more than most people, including this week's effort.

Agree, and I thought Laura had saved his butt for 1 more week.

Widge,

I don't know - in the way he 'goes over the top' he often reminds me of Santino, who made it far and still makes cameo appearances for advertising the show.

And with his mouth Jeffrey also reminds me of Santino in a way.

Three words - Thank. You. God.

So glad to see Vincent go. His dresses never seemed to actually fit the model. And the funky sleeves, ick. On his podcast, Tim Gunn commented that he thought Vincent's fabric looked like something an old aunt would have on their couch.

Liked Jeffrey's. But I am Scottish and like plaid. Even yellow plaid.

Liked Uli's. The braided bits reminded me of Santino though.

Liked the color of Michael's even though the construction was iffy at best. And it looked soooo much better when he folded the excess "bunny ears" fabric in the front under. BTW, what was with the idiot throwing eggs?!

Liked the skirt on Kayne's dress. Hated the top.

Liked nothing about Laura's dress except that it was well made. Thought she was going home last night.

Hated Vincent's.

Looks like Laura has a melt down next week.

Go Michael!

Creepy perv is gone! You saw how he creeped out Catherine as well....

Laura, so done! Lame. And next week she's crying over being pregnant. That woman is a BABY MACHINE! What does she have, like 5 kids? Birth control, honey.

Michael's was pretty bad.

Uli deserved to win.

Jeffrey is too cocky. and it was COTTON. What coture gown is cotton?

I didn't mind Kayne's - not my style, but flowed beautifully & was very well put together.

I really liked Kayn'es. I really did...I didn't see what they were seeing in it - but remember that week that Bradley made this HORRID outfit and Vera Wang LOVED it?? I don't always agree with the judges.

LOVE Michael - but LOVED his dress when he tucked the cups in...it looked really pretty that way.

SO GLAD VINCENT IS GONE...Just one more to go that I hate and we'll be kosher (Laura)....

Love the show :)

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

I would not be surprised to see Jeffrey making it to the finals like Santino did... makes good TV I guess, all the friction and nastiness.

Laura is going to be auf'd next I think.

I am sooo glad Vincent is gone.... his skirt looked like curtain material.. :P

I think Kane's style is a little tacky but he sures knows how to make a dress fit a women's curves etc....

I thought Jeffery's dress was awful, the style was ok but the colours were horrible :P

Laura's dress did look a little better in Paris... it got kind of smushed in transport....

I LOVE Kayne...but then again, I come from the pageant world so I am predisposed to tasteless tacky glitz :D

I did see a delegate at a pageant a number of years ago in a plaid gown, she was from Montreal and he minute I saw her in it I thought 'couture'. it was very Montreal chic, it wasnt yellow plaid tho.... but it was amazing, had never seen anything like it before....and it was definitely something to remember.

Vincents thing looked stiff, uncomortable, tacky, ill-fitting and like upholstry...and he trained in couture?!?!?!?! He should be ashamed of himself and his trainers even more so.

As for Lauras 'meltdown'....its hormones baby. Thats what pregnancy does to ya....but some people LIKE having kids, 5,6,7...an even dozen, who are you or anyone to judge based on that? My mom had 6 and would have had more had she not been forced to stop or die :P

I am really backing Kayne, but unfortunately I think it is going to go to Jeffrey. I dont think Kayne is the style of designer they are really looking for. Perhaps Micheal has a good shot also. The girls, not so much.

We'll see!
