I think it's preposterous that Laura jumped to such conclusions. Obviously, there's a lot that we didn't see...but at the end of the day, it's like Jeffrey said....when you have a day and a half to finish a task is a lot different than the preparation of 2 mos for the apex of your career......in a way it's SUCH a compliment really, but she could have told J first before throwing him under the bus, but she didn't cos she's threatened....and if J survives this, I'll be laughing my back off.

Laura's a silly woman who needs a longer neck...oh I dunno...there's something about her face that bothers me that I can't put my finger on  ...but she should go back to her Albert Einstein husband and tribe of children cos she obviously cannot handle pressure

Apparently Laura & Jeffrey's moms became friends after doing the show. Laura heard thru her mom that Jeffrey was way behind doing his collection. So she followed up.

I found the link I read last week:

http://www.newyorkmetro.com/news/intelligencer/21688/?imw=Y

and

http://usmagazine.com/node/2479

Three weeks earlier, Tim Gunn, Parsons fashion design chair and the show’s mentor, had visited Sebelia in L.A. and declared, “He had a lot of work to do.” Word reached Bennett, whose mother had met and become friendly with Sebelia’s mother. Upon seeing Sebelia’s miraculously finished collection, Bennett told the producers she believed Sebelia had outsourced his sewing—which would disqualify him. “His collection was very ambitious,” says Gunn. “I wasn’t born yesterday.”

The mother could've been sandbagging her...and when Tim went, it looked to me like he had a lot completed...this is just a PR scandal to boost ratings

But first I thought, oh he looks rich. That's how she can afford 6 kids - cuz architects don't make any $$!

Huh, of the whole 2 architects I know, one owns 2 Rolls Royces and has a huge home in an expensive part of DC, and the the other owns a BMW and lives in a gorgeous historic mansion in Lexington, KY. I imagine an architect in NYC probably makes pretty good $$$.

Of course, as a museum curator, EVERYONE seems rich to me!

actually no. A very small percentage of architects are rich. It's usually the famous ones that are.

There are an insane number of architects who have average wages, simply because of the sheer number of architects & jobs.

I have many NYC architect friends (from when I lived there) & I can assure you they do not have lots of money & they work crazy long hours as well! And my fiance is a Brit architect, same thing....(sadly) ;)

Looks like Laura's husband is an architect too. She apparently works for his firm part-time.

they're right...i mean he had four things going on in his life and yet had everything impeccably done - which he NEVER had...sure it's Bryant Park but you had to do your best to GET tehre in the first place.

Plus...he didn't really deny it. I mean he acted upset but I think he's scared s-less that he's been caught.

i also don't like him :) that helps

Ok, well according to my links posted, he shows. So either he got away with it or was allowed to anyhow.

I asked my fashion designer friend & she said:

> i didn't see it, but i'm not too sure he would have cheated. he had plenty of

> time for 12 garments, esp. if he was any good at patterning/fitting. that can

> take forever. the actual sewing can go very quickly..

I still hate him & his weird neck!
