Very nice pic of you both. Congrats!

Very kind of you to say. I tried to cut me out of the pic but it didn't look right and she insisted I leave me in it to post. I really wanted to show her in her dress she made so I left it like that. Should have the better more professional looking pics in the future where she is only in some.good.gif

Well not sure where she got it but she made it from another dress. I came home and saw it and lifted it up to my head and it touched the floor. I just figured she was fixing a dress for someone else. The next day it was in taken apart in pieces. The day of the wedding she had this dress on and I was stunned. Those two lines were on the side of the dress before and the breast area was different. Not sure how she did all that in the time she had but she was working on something in the sewing room till late at night. So I guess I can say she half made the dress.

She used to make all her own clothes in VN and even her jeans she wore. She also makes all the aprons for everyone at the shop and is always making or modifying something in the sewing room.

Thanks and glad you liked it. The red was a nice touch.good.gif

That red was running down the sides of the dress so I was shocked to see that she had redone it the way she had. I like it even better with the way she had done the red striping. It was actually a nice dress before but I thought blah really. I did not even knew she was going to wear a wedding dress as she had shown me 3 Ao Dai dresses for the wedding day she was going to wear a couple of weeks before that. Even when she was working on it I had no idea she was making a wedding dress for some reason as she sews sometimes for herself or someone else. The morning of the wedding she told me she was going to wear a wedding dress and I was surprised. I saw that she had it in a dress bag and could see little of it and never saw her in it till she came to church in it. I was stunned to say the least. How she was able to take a nice kinda blah dress and fix it up the way she did showed me a lot about her and made me understand that I still have a lot to learn about her.
