Hey everyone,

I have finally decided to start this AOS process, I put my pants on and am ready to face Goliath. I'm starting with what seems like the easiest, and still have a couple questions for you. I'm working on the employment authorization form right now, and here's where I'm stuck (please don't laugh at my idiotic questions! :D )

Ok, so before question 12, they ask you:

Which USCIS Office / Dates

Results (Granted or Denied - attach all documentation)

What am I to write there? Vermont Service Center? The date we sent in the I-129F? And then a copy of our NOA2?

And then, question 13:

Place of last entry into the U.S.

Here, do I write Montreal airport, or the city in which I flew in?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

This is a continuation of question 11 - Have you ever before applied for employment authorization from USCIS? If you answered "yes", then write the location of the office where you applied and the date you applied.

Place of last entry into the U.S.

Where was your I-94 stamped? That's where you entered the US. Some airports in Canada have US immigration pre-screening. It's practically the only country where you can actually "enter" the US without actually being on US soil.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

Thank you! This helps a lot!

I looked at the stamps and it does not specify the city, just the date. But I'm gonna go with what you said, I 'crossed' the border before boarding the plane, so I'll put down Montréal. Thanks again! And if anyone else has a say on it, please let me know!
