letter of intent- which USCIS Service Center ?

Hey,

in the last few breaths of finishing up our form. I am trying to write the ltter of intent,..

Now in the example Form it says to adress it to the Service Center,.. but NOW they changed it to be sent to the LOCKBOX in Dallas..

Who do I adress it to now ??

The Lockbox or the Vermont Center ( Cuz of New York)

I put down the service center since that is where it will actualy be looked at and processed.

Vermont. They are the ones who will be reviewing your petition. Texas is simply processing payments and forwarding them off to their correct service centers.

Note, if they change it to the lockbox, USCIS will take one of two actions:

• send it back to you with a note to send it to the lockbox
• forward it directly to the lockbox, without bothering to inform you

I've actually had experience akin to the latter: in 1998, I had to get a TN-1 renewed, for which the correct SC was NSC; the chop my then-employer tasked with filing I-129's sent it to TSC, and INS forwarded it "nicely" (and without bothering to inform about it) to NSC. (I found out the mistake later when I wanted to get a sample-letter to help another Canuck get a TN-1 renewal).
