let me offer one more 'path' for you, yes?

Call into USCIS, but GET an ISO, Tier 2 human, see http://www.dhs.gov/xabout/structure/gc_1221837986181.shtm#5

Don't muck about with the person that answered the phone - once you get that 'first person', ask for an ISO, immediately.

Pointed questions for the ISO -

--What's my case status for EAD and GreenCard?

--Please verify my address - Here's my right address - do you have the same address in your files?

--Do you have any record of 'returned mail' ? If so, please tell me WHAT WAS RETURNED, and let's verify my address again?

--Any postal mail returned to you? Please re-send it to me.

------------------------

Let me know what transpired, after that phone call?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Hey Guys guess what.... my EAD case has just been TOUCHED few minutes ago and out of the blue..... case status jumped straight to CARD/DOCUMENT PRODUCTION

( Skipping all other steps like Decision, Post decision activity )

though i did not receive any letter stating that EAD I-765 is been approved but i looks like my card is on the way....?

How long does it take to get the EAD card once status gone to CARD/DOCUMENT PRODUCTION ?

I-485 is still UNTOUCHED since 07/09/2010

any way many thanks for the help and support.... you guys are superb helpful..

i don't think i ever got a letter about the EAD either or even if you do get one? you'll have the card by the end of next week! congrats! :-)

From receiving the EAD NOA2 hard copy letter to having the card in your hand, they are at least one week apart (it could take longer, depends on how busy they are...but in my experience that is what happened when I first applied...so don't be disappointed if it takes more than a week to get to you). At least from there you can get your SSN (if you don't have one yet) and start accepting job offers, open a bank account, and some of the other good stuff you can do with an EAD ans SSN. :) Congratulations!

N-400 Timeline

02-23-2018: Sent N-400 Application online

02-23-2018: Date on NOA, retrieved from online account

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!
