I have a question about previous x-rays. My fiancé told me she had some that were done 2 years ago. The problem is that they were done in another country. Would she be able to get them sent from the hospital there? What are the options left if not? Thanks.

2 years old? and who did them? I think he will have to do everything new. X-rays are used to see if you have lungs diseases. if they are 2 years old, there is no certainty about the visa beneficiary's health condition at the time he gets the visa.

Was she diagnosed with anything? Generally x-rays are valid within a 6 month period.

If she was diagnosed with an illness, aside from the old x-rays, she would need to produce a medical summary/certificate explaining what she had, how long her treatment was, what kind of treatment they gave her, the result and her prognosis. They will still conduct a chest x-ray, but they will take into consideration any treatment she had to address the illness.

Also in your topic title you mentioned you have a concern about her last name on the G325A...what was your question?

It would certainly help speed up her time with the physician when they sit down and discuss her medical history at St. Luke's. What kind of surgery did she have?

It's ok for the G-325A question I got it answered. So if she had a surgery 2 years ago she would need a medical summary for that?

It was for an ectopic pregnancy. I don't know if she got an x-ray for that but she told me they did ultra-sound and blood tests. I'm not sure in which country she got them done in. It could be in Australia. Would it be a problem for her to get those from Australia, if anyone had an experience with getting medical records from another country.

Kelsey...I promise you...your fiancée won't need those old x-rays...and she won't need any medical summaries. Please find something else to worry about. ;)

Really? I was just wondering cuz there was a post about the medical in the Philippines and they said they asked if there were previous x-rays. And I didn't know if she needed those because she did have surgery for that. So I was just curious and concerned. And yes I just recently turned in the packet and shouldn't be worrying about the medical just yet. But I like to be prepared. ;)
