The principals of Christianity are extremely democratic in nature: freedom to choose, keep to ones self, peace, compassion, forgiveness etc.

The principals of Islam are akin to Communism; with the biggest being kill any dissent and sharia law.

It appears you beleive that any violent act or supression of other beliefs by christians is because their interpretation is flawed, yet Islam is just violent in nature and any one that thinks otherwise misinterprets the religion?

They do say that to make friends you should always avoid discussions on politics and religion. Football, however, is a universal language embraced by all political, religious and various other persuasions. c'mon the mighty reds.

The thing is I can look past the history of Islam and put it in the past. Yet can the same be said about those who follow Islam? I've lost count of the times numerous people have accepted the past misuse of Christianity, but am yet to see anyone of Islam do they same. And I am talking about events that occurred in the 15th to 11th century, rather than last decade, year or month.

Every single day there will be some story about someone or something thing in the Islamic world that is either chanting death or lead to various human rights violations of others whom do not share their beliefs.

That is the fundamental problem. It's not about me or my beliefs, it's about theirs and their actions. All other religious can and do get along, except Islam. Islam clashes with all four major religions, especially with atheism which could be considered a fifth.

I'd thought you'd like dictating, it's a fundamental aspect of your religion. E.G. Death to anyone who draws a cartoon. Death to anyone who goes against what we believe.

How have you ‘looked past the history of Islam’ ? You’ve been doing nothing but giving tons of examples of historical events, why are you not allowing others to do the same? Practice what you preach, you’ve been the hypocrite here seriously. You give historical examples of Islamic ‘atrocities’ but when others equally give examples of other religious and racial murders, you want to knock ‘history’ and want them to focus on the last 10 years?? I’m shocked that you can’t see how absurd that is.

The UN declaration of human rights has only been around 65 years by the way, that’s a mere blink of an eye in the history of the human race, but suddenly it removes Christianity from the age of Barbarism and gives the West the exclusive right to judge all others for their actions from here on out.

BUT we can of course continue to invade other countries like Vietnam and Iraq to ‘free their people of communism and fanaticism’. THAT is hypocrisy.
