Thanks so much for the help, sorry for the initial confusion! What about a brother, same thing? What was the I-130 referring to when it said "Other people the beneficiary will bring to the US"?

for a spousal visa -

ya - usually these are children of the foreign spouse -

but even then there is a seperate I-130 submitted on each child.

This data collection is useful for USCIS, in case any files that were submitted together somehow become 'untogether' at USCIS - having the name and DOB is a great way to 'match up' lost casefiles.

Please remember that the I-130 petition is used for many different things -

a spousal visa is just one of them -

so

there 'are' some 'generic areas' there , that will not apply to you.

Final Note - if you are looking to 'bring in the entire family'

then be warned - yer in for a LONG PROCESS - taking years, and sometimes a decade or two.

You, as the USC Spouse, won't be petitioning for ANY OF THEM -

as the 'direct relative' is the one that must petition for them -

and for 'that group of relatives' - in this case -

it's

YOUR WIFE

that will be petitioning for them.

She can first file when she becomes a LPR, then have the 'casetype upgraded'

when she becomes as USCitizen.

For her, parents have immediate priority, then it's brothers/sisters - and thats it - no uncles, cousins, aunts, gardeners, landscaping crew, life-long live-in maids, etc.

It's a long wait, did I mention that once? A verra long wait.

If you do have some interest - suggest you study the guides about it, after yer lass has arrived in the USA.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
