On your list you do not have your marriage certificate. You need a copy of that to attach to your I-485.

Hi, I just need help with a ready check to send my package

- I-485

- $1,010 dlls check

- Copy of birth certificate with according translation

- Copy of Visa

When you copied your passport, did you also photocopy the page where your I-94 is stapled?

- 2 photos

- Form I-693 ( I have my appointment this weekend yay )

Your I-693 has to be in a sealed envelope...the clinic doing your medical should do that for you.

- G-325A

- Copy of NOA(I-130)

- I-864( $ 70 dlls check, transcript of last 3 years of Federal income Tax return + W-2, Birth Certificate.. should i include my husband's G-325?)

There is no fee for the I-864, you don't need to send the $70 check...that fee is only paid by CR-1/IR-1 applicants during the NVC stage.

Birth Certificate and husband's G-325A not needed on I-864. Does he have pay stubs? If he is currently employed and you are declaring his income for eligibility in the poverty guidelines, he will need to provide photocopies of those as well.

Wait...what visa are you currently holding? K3 or tourist? You said in your post you only got married 5 months ago and your tourist visa expired...I understand there is a slightly different process for tourist visa holders adjusting status.

Thank you

So im including copy of marriage certificate and I-94, no $70 dlls for I-864.

Now im confused.. I got here to the USA in February as a visitor, we got married back in april, my I-94 expired in june, we sent I-130 in july, is there anything else i should be sending??

Your question may need to be moved to the other forum: Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Work, Student or Tourist Visas...they may be able to add some information there, since most of the members in this forum/topic [Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from from Family Based Visas] arrived in the US on K1/K2 or K3/K4 visas...which undergo a slightly different process than yours.

I believe you were supposed to send the I-130 and the I-485 together but it's not a K1 process which is what i'm familiar with...

Also, your profile states you are K3, yet you posted that you arrived and are adjusting from a tourist visa, please change your profile to reflect that so people don't get confused :)

Good luck :D

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to "Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas" as you are adjusting from a visa other than a K1, K2, K3 & K4 which the prior forum is for**
