Dodi, Thanks for the response. Where do we pay the Visa fee in Guangzhou? any idea? or will it be in the 4th letter? Bill

Another question. I just registered here, how do I get my timeline to appear on my posts? I have already filled out my timeline.

Actually, this is my second time doing this.I received a Fiance Visa 16 years ago, for my exwife, from Lima, Peru.It was a lot faster. I applied in May and she arrived on Aug 12,1994, but that was pre- sept 11,2001,Unfortunately like over 50% of US Marriages, it didn't work out. She didn't find the streets paved with gold. Bill

Hi, I'm new here, Got a question on this topic. Is there a fiance visa Fee in China? We received our NOA1 on June 28,2010, still no NOA2, as with most of you who filed in June. Bill

The fee is $350 WORLDWIDE

YMMV

If your fiancee indicated Guangzhao as the Embassy where her visa application will be processed, the fee will be paid at:

For K visa applicants, all K nonimmigrant visa applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of 350USD (or equivalent in RMB) at a CITIC Bank prior to the visa interview. The fee can be paid at any of the designated branches of CITIC Bank in mainland China. For more information, please contact CITIC Bank national Customer Contact Center at 95558 or visit its website at http://www.ecitic.com/bank/personal/chuguo/5.htm. Please submit the payment receipt at the visa interview.

Got that information through a quick Google search using K1 instructions guangzhao

Packet 3 information (where I extracted the fee instructions): http://photos.state.gov/libraries/guangzhou/47024/K%20p3/K%20Instruction%20-Aug_%2010.pdf

Packet 4 information: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/guangzhou/47024/K12%20p4/K1K2%20Appointment-Aug%2010.pdf

The instructions are dated as of August 2010, so it should be the latest information.

Thanks for the Info, I have went to those websites and looked at them. I also sent the links in Chinese to my Fiance, So she could look at them. But I was wondering about a few things. I front loaded my I 129f form and sent in copies of my last 3 years tax returns, birth certificates,Photos, emails, and so on.Was I right in doing that? I did this before in 1994 and I sent in everything with the application, and then twisted a few arms and got my ex-wife here in less than 3 months. But what about this Police report? I didn't do that last time. Is that something I am suppose to do on myself? or is that only for my fiance, to prove she isn't a criminal.I have been associated with the US Govermant in one way or another since 1974, First US Navy, then US Postal Service, And for the last 20 years as a Tax Preparer. So do I need to send new copies of everything to my Fiance to include with her Packet 3, or will the stuff I sent in with the I 129f be sufficient. Thanks. Bill

I don't think taxes were needed on an I-129F petition. Those documents are usually attached to the I-134 affidavit of support.

It's your fiancee who has to produce a police certificate/report, and yes to determine criminal or civil convictions or arrests.

Ideally when you prepare an I-129F, you retain a copy of everything you submitted (forms + supporting documents) so she knows what you sent to USCIS. She will need her own copy to study it and help her prepare for her future interview. Everything that applies to her in Packet 3 and 4, she must prepare as they relate to her circumstances.

i was a bit annoyed at this new fee when i first read about it, think it was $130.00 just a few months ago but what can you do. Just seems crazy that you have to pay so much just to be with someone you love.

Im sure if I was the one moving to her country it would be so much cheaper, such is life.

I agree but wait until you file the AOS and have to write that $1,010.00 check to UNCLE Sam

The entire process to licting of conditions and all costs between are staggering but the government does this to discourage and also to milk people out of their hard earned money.
