mandatory administrative processing?

I have been waiting for 8 months now! I am a UKC married to a USC and filed in London which is even more amazing. Who would of thought that I would be waiting for 8 months while people from Pakistan and India would already have received their visa!

Now that the holiday season is in full swing I am not expecting to hear anything till the second week of January.

Amankular and everyone else, have you hired a lawyer that is looking into your case?

Hi VJ Family!

My wife and our 9 month old daughter had their interview on December first week. I am so sad that they were put on Administrative Review (AR).

CO was telling everything is ok except for we need to go through this AR process. CO not sure how long it will take to finish this process. Even I don't know the reason for this Administrative Review. that's the worst thing. CO didn't tell me the reason for the AR.

I am really sad and down. I waited for last 03 years to bring my family here. Now, I don't know how long it will take to finish this process. its soooooo unfair.

what I have to do now? Why they put F2A visa applicants on this AR process? Actualy, My wife never applied for any US visa or never been to US before.honestly, i dont know the reason for the AR.

Please Advice me.

1)Interview Dec 07,2010 immigrant visa-spouse of LPR US embassy New delhi.

2)At the time of interview 221g handout to submit proof of relationship ,and

did not keep the passport.

3)All requested DOCUMNETS were submitted on Dec 15,2010 along with the passport.

4)Passport received back with no visa on Dec.24,2010 with a letter says

"Please bear with us while your case undergoes mandatory administrative processing. We will contact you as soon as the process has been completed."

You are in AP. New Delhi Embassy ohhhhhh God. everyone going thru AP ( i guess)When they done with AP they will ask for you passport. Don't know how long it take. I'm in AP from last 4 months. Some people get visa in 2 month & some get in 3 months...Good luck

Same thing happened to me, our passport was returned after submitting documents... THIS IS NORMAL...

Embassy will do more processing (investigation) and will ask for passport once ready for visa.

Got a call from US embassy to submit the passport at vfs office.

Just Submit the passport, give VFS your phone numbers and stay alert for phone call to collect visa if living in village or stay alert to accept VISA if stay in city.

Its coming up for 9 months AP for me and i filled my application in London!

Please pray for me that I hear something back this month
