In everyone's opinion, is there even a glimmer of hope that if I send my application out this week, that we could be approved by February? My FH and I have been invited to my cousin's wedding and I was hoping to use that time to introduce Ali to my mom's entire family. Is this a pipe dream?

To be honest cant really say it just depends on the complexity of the case if you guys get any RFEs or not and how fast everthing is moving. to be honest Feb is only 5months away so the chances may be slim to none....... but all you can do is submit and wait like everyone else there are no gurantees either way......GOOD LUCK :blush:

No way to know for sure...but the sooner you file, the sooner it can get approved. Good Luck and wish you speedy approval!

I'm willing to be the blunt one here.

I highly doubt you would get anything approved by then. See my signature for a timeline, and although we're from different countries, I filed when the whole estimate from start to finish was 5-6 months. It will be 7 months before it's done. Also, how does Jordan compare for relationships with the U.S.? If it's not a high fraud country, you MIGHT MIGHT MAYBEEEEEEEE have a chance of getting it done. In order to do so you would need to do the following:

1. Immediately file

2. Immediately order all background checks

3. Immediately get your hands on any of the additional forms you need, fill them out, and have them ready to mail back.

This might be something that a Region specific forum could answer better for you, but honestly, unless every single aspect of the process went 100% correctly for you, I am going with no.

I would have to say that there really isn't enough time for this to happen. Do not get your hopes up - yes, go ahead and apply, but this is a lengthy process, filled with potential for RFE's, denials, 2nd interviews, and Administrative Processing and/or Review - which is quite typical for a MENA man.
