Help please! I have a few questions and I'm sure they've all been asked before, but I think all circumstances are different.

Ques. 1- My fiancé and I don't have phone records because when I call the Philippines, I use a rechargeable phonecard, I never call directly. Also we chat on yahoo, but I never have time to use the computer at home and so we chat using our cell phones. So there's no chat records I can print out either. We email sometimes, post on fb walls, and send letter once a month or every month. Is that enough evidence for them?

Ques. 2- I'm a private/contract caregiver and I get paid in personal checks, can I use that as proof of employment? I make $3000-3500/month. I just started in January and so it wouldn't show on my tax return from 2009. In 2009 I didn't really work so I only filed like $5000, in 2008 and 2007 i filed like $30,000 each year. Since my income is ok this year, will last years low tax return have a big impact on the decision they make?

Ques. 3- Since I had a low income last year, should I still have a co-sponsor just in case? Can I use my mom and stepdad as co-sponsors? Their 2007 and 2008 returns are seperate, but 2009 is joint because they got married last year.

My husband is in Kenya so we use only phone cards too. Do you use the same number all the time? I saved all of the phone cards when I realized I had to and brought them to the interview. With verizon wireless I created a top 5 and included the phone card number as my husbands number. I printed out all of these bills and submitted them. I don't have many emails because my husband has a hard time getting internet access. I would send copy of your letters and posts on face book. The more you have the better. I gave them emails for as long as we sent them. Letters cards anything...

Can't help with question 2

You can use anyone as a co- sponsor. I sponsored a friend's family member with them once.

It's the same number but it's 1-888 so on my cell bill, that's the number you'd see. It's not a card card that I could save, I just always reload it when I need to call. Our main communication 24/7 is yahoo messenger though. So should I still submit all my income stuff along with my parents or just theirs? Ugh this stuff is so straight forward and simple, but I still get confused. Haha. Thanks for replying!

You know what I use for calling there. I use Pennytalk. its reloadable, and a good price per minute. Ontop of all that it logs the numbers you call.. :) Skype works well as well. I would use a co sponsor in case its brought up. As long as your income now is sufficient you should be ok.

I'd like to know how the phone records will work for you. We are kinda in the same situation. When my fiance and I started talking, he was stationed in Japan and our main form of communication was through Skype and Gmail chat. I had saved our calls archive from Skype in my external hard drive and had since reformatted my laptop. Unfortunately my hard drive conked out on me and I had lost the copy. There may still be a way to recover by means of a recovery specialist but I haven't really looked into that yet.

Anyways, now he is back in the States. Btw he is a Marine and now stationed in Cali. He has decided not to get internet at home to help save money. That has stopped our Skype calls. Our main form of communication now is through Facebook and YM chat through our iphones. It doesn't keep history for long and I hadn't really been consistent in taking screenshots of it.

I call him sometimes using Magic Jack. Will that do? On rare occasions we call each other with our cellphones but just for a few minutes so we don't go overboard with our bills. Due to the 15 hr time difference too, one of us is at work so our main form of communication on a daily basis is through YM on our mobiles.
