Hello,

So I am currently working in the US on J1 visa. I work for a music company and they have offered to sponsor my stay, which will become (hopefully) an H1B visa.

My J1 visa allows me to work until Oct 10th.

If my boss applies for my stay while I'm still in the US, can I work at this company while they process the application?

I have a degree so I can eligible for the specialty category.

Also, would this be an adjustment of visa?

Please let me know, if you have any advice on this matter.

Thanks

shea
