AOS - I got my papers, but my son hasn't got his

Hi! This is my first post on VJ although I have benefited from many other posts and info found here during my K1 visa process.

Here's my problem: I filed for AOS back in July for both me and my son. He is 1 year old and entered the US with me with a K2. We both had our biometrics last month. Two weeks later I got my advance parole and employment authorization card. But so far, I have nothing for him. On USCIS website his case shows as initial review.

I have called the USCIS 1-800 number and talked to one of their robots (lol) and she said it is still within their estimated time so there is nothing that can be done. However, a person I know had the same problem and was called for an interview without her son and had problems to get her son's green card. She was only able to do it months later, after many info passes and troubles...

Has anyone been through that? Do you have any advice for me? Should I be worried?

call USCIS again, get an ISO, ask yer question again

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

so - any news after calling in, getting an ISO, having a convo with an ISO ?
