Do they also need a police record from the Benefaciary in the I-129F package?

Hey Everybody!

My Fiance, whom is a US citizen, has to have his police record in our I-129 package, like everybody know :whistle: ..

But I read that I, his fiancée from abroad, need to put also a police record in our I-129 package...

I am confused, some websites say so, others don't...

Please, let me know.. we are about to send out our package WOOOHOOOH!! :D

you dont need to include police certificate for either of you when submitting the original 129F application you wont need the police certificate until you go for the interview....GOOD LUCK

Simply put: no.

You WILL need them for the interview, so it's good to know how to get them, and then order it as soon as you receive the NOA2. Some countries' certificates are only good for 6 months, so it's best not to get them too early, so ordering once you've received the NOA2 is a good time.

The US Citizen petitioner does not need to submit a police report. The intending immigrant does.

Police certificates are also required from beneficiaries who have lived in another country for more than 6 months since turning 16 years of age

I haven't lived in another country for longer than six months, but my fiance (the beneficiary) lived in the US for a year on a student visa. Does he need a US police certificate?

police records and certified court document are required to be submitted with the original i-129f if the American petitioner has been convicted of certain crimes...

The beneficiary is not required at that time to supply records but as u have been told, they are required at the embassy interview.
