What you wrote is fine, but.... I would be VERY specific about the dates you have seen each other in the time period of "ever since" because USCIS is only interested in your meetings within the last two years and September 2008 may or may NOT meet the test depending on the exact dates. And they count the two years from when they officially accept the petition not when you sent it in.

Feb. 19, 2016 - NOA1

List the dates of your visits together. Corroborate those dates with copies of the airline boarding passes, passport entry/exit stamps, receipts from hotels on the vacations, etc..

The question says to describe the circumstances under which you met in the last two years. Give specific dates, which you'll back up with your proof.

Okay so with my passport stamps and boarding passes and his passport stamp of coming to germany i actually do describe that,..

But do I leave out September 6th already cuz it is not in the 2 year time frame but over that ? but thats how we met, so how do i just leave that out ?

I flew over there, first time ever September 6th, then December 2nd in 2008, May 9th and Sept 8 in 2009 and now this year June 9th in 2010.

In 2009 he was there for 1 week vacation.

You can mention that you met online, even that you first met in Sept 2008, it won't hurt you, but they are really only interested in the five times you've seen each other since that time. Just write that you met online and have visited each other 5 times within the past two years, then list the dates. You will be fine with an explanation like that.

There's no need to overthink it. They just want to see at least one date within the last two years so they can check it off the list of requirements.

Good luck! You'll be fine!

I would encourage you to add specific details; give the specific dates when you have visited each other, i.e. She visited me from February 10 to February 20, 2010 in New York City, I next visited her in Frankfurt from May 20 to June 5, 2010. This way, the adjudicator could look for these passport stamps and verify that these visits took place (you should include copies of all pages of your passport). You do not want the adjudicator to think, by mistake, that you last saw one another in September of '08, because that would be more than two years ago soon!

Bes wishes :)
