Hello everyone i need some help. My wife came from Germany on a K-1 visa 1 year ago and she has gotten her greencard for 3 years. We now are going back to germany to visit some family and my question is she still has a valid german passport good until the end of 2010 and her greencard is that enough to travel with to germany will it be valid for her to go there and come back…thank you so much for the help

Yes, if she is a green card holder, then she has legal permanent residency in the US, so long as it is still valid. She can come and go as she pleases.

Just FYU: her German passport will still need to be renewed as it would if she were living there whenever it expires, but you can do that via mail, usually. (Check the German subforum for this info.)

Yes, your wife can travel to Germany using her passport, but she should probably get it renewed while you are visiting there. It will be important to have a valid passport, particularly if you plan to return after her passport expires. Upon returning to the USA she would show her German passport and her permanent residence card. This will be the way in which she would travel out of the US until she becomes a naturalized American citizen and can obtain a US passport.
