Hi everyone,

I got a letter from the consulate in Montreal today. I'm not quite sure, but I went online and filled out information for DHL. I also filled out my passport number, DS-160 confirmation number, etc.

There is a date on here that says "Your Priority Date: 25 JAN 2010".

Is this my interview date?

When I did fill out the information on the website, it said "No interview date available."

So... am I waiting for them to give me one? Or is the date on the "packet" the date for my interview?

SO STRESSED! GAH!

Thanks in advance!

priority priority date is not an interview date. You get a packet 4 with a letter stating your interview date and time. You must have this letter from montreal to get inside the consulat it comes by snail mail.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

i think that means we are booking our own K1 interviews in Montreal, I havent received my packet 4 yet I was told it was sent to me last week. There is a new system (where you logged in today) that allows you to book your own interview date, but as you said there are no interviews available. I called today to the same service and I was told there are no interviews available for now, not sure what will happen with all of us.

Btw when was your packet 3 logged?

Where in Canada are living?

I am in Toronto. The very RUDE AND UNHELPFUL operator put me on "hold" twice, and when I got aggressive she couldn't answer my questions. She said there were no Fiance visa interviews until after January 2011, and when I asked if there were any after, she said she could only see until January 25th. I asked her if it was up to me to check EVERY DAY to schedule an appointment, and she said yes!

Great! Amazing I am so angry.

There is no interview date. I was told to go to a website and book a date myself. The operator I spoke to was an idiot, told me there are no interviews until after January 2011, and then told me she couldn't see past January 2011. What kind of service is this?

you may want to post in the canada section then since this is a new procedure apparently. Let the others know that are waiting etc. Never seen this before but glad I dont have to deal with it since they mailed me mine. Sounds like its going to be a giant cluster f--- of people trying to book interviews and will now be based more so on who can dial/type the fastest to get an interview slot instead of getting one they give you.

This is COMPLETELY OUTRAGEOUS, I GIVE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my interview scheduled. It was my fault. They changed this all over September 1.

MSR, when you go into the system, make sure you're picking "Permanently move to the USA (Schedule interview)", not K1/K2 like my dumb@ss self did!

It was my own fault, they changed everything Sept 1 and unfortunately I did not understand exactly what to do ... stress + nerves = no.

Maybe someone should write a new pin for the forum on how to do this?

It's actually really simple to just log in... but you have to make sure to pick "Permanently move to the USA (schedule interview)" - NOT K1/K2 visa.

K1 is fiancee.. I think K2 may be with family? No clue! But just make sure you pick the permanently moving to US lol...

My letter said the same, "permantly move to the US' , still makes no sense though

we are k1's , oh well, we have interview dates now, that's all that matters..
