What is the total number of passport photos needed for immigrant

From what I can tell I need 1 passport photo for the I-30, 2 passport photos for I-485 and 1 passport photo for the I-765. Is this correct? Thanks for any responses.

Timeline:

9-18-2010 - Sent AOS to Chicago lockbox

9-20-2010 - Package arrived confirmation USPS

9-24-2010 - Received txt message and email for I-797

9-27-2010 - Received NOA1 for I-131, I-130, I-765 and I-485

9-27-2010 - Checks cashed

10-4-2010 - Received biometric appt. (10-28-10)

10-15-2010 - Touched

10-20-2010 - RFE Notice Sent via email on I-485 (Bummer)

10-25-2010 - Recevied RFE

10-26-2010 - Send evidence

10-27-2010 - Evidenced signed for in response to RFE

10-28-2010 - Appear for Biometrics

10-28-2010 - I-765 & I-485 touched

10-29-2010 - I-765 & I-485 touched again

11-1-10 - rec.email regarding continued processing of I-485

11-12-2010 - Received call from congresswoman's office stating they were contacting USCIS to expedite EAD

11-15-210 - Received call from congresswoman's office confirming request to expedite approved and EAD will be adjudicated in 7 business days and should received card 10 days after that. Also the I-485 has been moved to the next step to schedule interview too. Yeah - so happy!!!

11-19-2010 - Received email AP approved and EAD card in production.

11-19-2010 - Received interview letter - appt scheduled on 12-21-2010. :)

11-22-2010 - Received AP in mail

11-26-2010 - Received EAD in mail (Went on 11-29-10 for job interview and start on 12-6-10)

12-21-2010 - Went on Interview and was APPROVED!!!

11/12/10 - AOS package received
11/17/10 - NOA1
12/27/10 - Biometrics --> canceled due to snow condition
1/18/11 - Advance Parole approved
1/26/11 - Biometrics Completed
1/31/11 - EAD in production
2/7/11 - EAD Recieved
2/18/11 - Applied for SSN
2/28/11 - Received SS Card
8/5/11 - Interview letter mailed
9/8/11 - Interview @9am
9/9/11 - Card Production
9/20/11 - Received Green Card

7/2013 - Submitted Removal of Condition

9/2013 - Biometrics Completed

11/20/2013 - NOA1 - Request for Evidence

12/20/2013 - RFE returned

1/2014 - 10 year green card approved.

You need 2 for the I-485, 2 for the I-765, 2 for the I-131 (if you are applying for it), and one for the I-130. If it is based on a marriage you also need 1 photo of the petitioner for the I-130. So that's 7 for the immigrant and 1 for the petitioner. Good luck!

Thank you for the response Harpa Timsah. Now I'm confused because below is the response I received from JimVaPhuong.

"For the I-485 it's sufficient to send only two photos. You don't need to send separate photos for the I-765. The photos are going to be scanned into the USCIS computer system, and not pasted into any actual document, so it's not necessary to have more than two. If you file for AP then the photos you submit will be printed on the AP documents from the computer, but they're not actually used for either the EAD or the green card. They use the photo they take at the biometrics appointment for those. They only ask you to send photos because they need a picture of the applicant in their files."

In my packet for the I-130 I did include 1 photo for me and 1 photo for the immigrant. In my packet for the I-485, I followed JihVaPhuong's advice, so now I am concerned if what I did was correct. Does anyone have any input? Thank you.

I'm sure you'll be fine with what you sent in.

I sent in 7 + 1 - following the 'literal' interpretation of the instructions. It does seem silly to send in so many photos - since they use the biometrics one that they take for the GC and FBI check anyway.

To save money I got my wife to take a picture of me against our white garage wall, created 8 pictures on a piece of paper on photoshop and printed them out on our home inkjet printer. I wasn't going to pay Walgreens a fortune for quality worse than I can do at home.

08/12/2010 => Day 00 => Package sent to Chicago lockbox

08/13/2010 => Day 01 => Package received and signed for in Chicago

08/23/2010 => Day 11 => Email and Text receipt notification

08/23/2010 => Day 11 => Cheques cashed - $1010 and $355

08/26/2010 => Day 14 => NOAs received in the mail

08/30/2010 => Day 18 => Received biometrics appointment letter (for 9/23)

09/03/2010 => Day 22 => Did walk-in biometrics

09/16/2010 => Day 35 => Received interview letter for 10/21

10/15/2010 => Day 64 => AP received

10/20/2010 => Day 69 => EAC received

10/21/2010 => Day 70 => AOS Interview, approved, I-551 stamp and card production ordered

10/30/2010 => Day 79 => Green card received
