Vo day is in 4 days in GZ, China.

I-129f approved, I-130 lost in space.

I read where approved NOA2 for I-130

is needed to file for AOS.

If still dont have by the time ready

to file is it realy needed?..............

I guess answer is yes but am not

sure.. :help:

No, an approved I-130 petition is not need to apply for adjustment of status from K3.

Yes it is needed to file for your AOS as a K3 holder.

Actually, it is required, unless you are filing your I-130 along with the I-485. However, in order to get a K-3, you need to file a I-130 first. Therefore, it would not be possible file the I-130 concurrently with the I-1485.

The approved I-130 application shows that a visa number is immediately available to the applicant.

Wouldn't the NOA2 for the I-129F be more appropriate?

The I-130 was for IR1/CR1. The I-129F was for the K-3

Actually, it is not required.

The wording of that very general summary information, which is the same now as it was before the K3 visa existed, does not supercede the applicable law or the regulations that implement the law.

This page on the USCIS web site says something a little bit different:

Esperience shows that it may not be quite correct either.
