Hey guys, sorry I have been scarce in this thread. :) I'm all booked for my interview. As per Montreal's usual standard, it isn't until August, but we're booked and getting things together. (L) I'm keeping an eye out for an earlier date opening up, but nothing yet so we'll see. If not, I'll just be happy to be finished.

Thats great news!. Really happy for you both.

Hope you manage to get an earlier interview date. Keep us updated.

7/18/2010 - I flew to Trinidad and met for the first time

~ Spent two weeks, one of which was in Tobago

9/9/2010 - Mailed I-129F to Texas via Express mail

9/15/2010 - NOA1 Date

4/4/2011 - NOA2 Date

4/12/2011 - NVC received

4/25/2011 - NVC sent via DHL to consulate

5/2/2011 - Packet mailed

7/25/2011 - Visa approved

You can apply for SS Card after about 10 to 14 days of your arrival. Joint accounts are a must in order to show co-mingling of assets. The rest can be very State specific as to what you can do and when. Where in the country will you be living?

I finally managed to get my password all set so i could stop by and check on everyone's progress. Is EVERYONE approved? i really, really hope so. I am writing to you as a MRS.!!!! I cannot believe that this process can actually move along.

I am so grateful to everyone here for the endless supply of moral support and advice. it takes a strong group of people to love someone from a distance and keep loving them no matter what red tape they have to cut through.

It can happen! We are the American dream!! Keep strong everyone, our AOS is being mailed out tomorrow!!!!

Just wanted to say hi to all of you and really hope you're all doing well and I'm assuming you all must be in America now! Things changed for us and I ended up moving to Croatia to be with Tomislav. Someday in the future maybe we'll end up doing CR1 but for now I'm here and we're very happy. We're getting married in June :) Lots of love and best wishes to all of you!
