@Tanoushka: Congrats on your approval! we had to same noa1.

@Minkthecat: Ugh, least someone knows my current pain then. sorry to hear you're being held up cause of an accountant though. ):

It really sucks. I did not expect things to take this long with a simple renewal or even finding his medical records from when he's moved. :<

Thankfully, everything is ready to be sent out as soon as the missing documents get there...I just hope the medical/interview won't take much longer after we send in the rest of p3.

Wow! Are you guys still waiting for that passport renewal. That's taken ages!

And is there something in his medical past that you need the records for? If it's his vaccination history then just get new shots.

Hope you two can get things sorted out soon.

Interview scheduled for June 6th in Jerusalem!!

That's the good news...the bad news is that my I-134, supporting documents, and some original evidence of our relationship appears to be a little it lost in the mail  It was mailed almost 3 weeks ago and it was supposed to take a week to get there...

It's no a disaster yet but it WOULD be a pain to piece together all that stuff again. How did you guys who sent stuff from the U.S. make sure it arrived in time?

But we are SOOOOOO happy to finally have a date. Jerusalem consulate mail is very, very slow and unreliable(my friend said she never even got an appointment letter mailed to her - she just found out through her congressperson). So we have gotten all our information (packet 3, interview date) by emailing them and they have been very responsive and then the hard copy comes a few weeks later. Anyway, that's the update!

09/02/10 Mailed I-129F

09/07/10 NOA1

03/17/11 NOA2 approved

06/06/11 Interview. Visa approved. Told we'll get visa in 7-10 days. Lies.

07/28/11 Mailed I-485

I scanned all documents that didn't need my original signature and emailed them to my fiance. Have you looked at DHL, Fedex, or UPS to send the papers and see if that would get them there any faster?

My fiance had his interview today in Frankfurt. He said there were a lot of people waiting to he had to wait for a while before his turn. The consulate officer asked questions about how we met, where I worked and what my job was, and when we've spent time together in person. The officer didn't ask to see any of the other evidence he brought. Our visa is approved. The consulate has to wait to receive the paperwork from the medical exam before they can issue the visa.
