Congrats all of you who got Noa2 and approved k1s!

I'm still stuck waiting on my fiance's flipping passport renewal...what a waste of time, i wish he caught it sooner. Uk's passport renewal is backlogged and only working on December, and he sent it off in Jan. :s it's like Vermont all over again!

Least I got all my documents all in order. //sigh

Congratulations everyone getting approved/interviews,

We are still trying to figure out what's gone wrong in our petition. The VSC told me to wait another 26 days before calling again. They've been very unhelpful and neither my congressman nor my senators have returned my e-mails or phone calls. This is relly absurd.

Does anyone know the date that the VSC is supposed to be reviewing right now? As oyu can see in my timeline below, there was a mistake (probably when they cashed my check) and my filing date was entered in as Oct. 1, even though I have a hard copy of my NOA1 that states Sept. 2.

On a positive note, we are making plans to meet up in China. We haven't seen one another since July 15, 2010. I just sent my Chinese visa paperwork off today, so as soon as that comes back, I'll book my flight. Mongolians don't need a visa to visit China. We really need this time together to recharge while we're waiting for her approval.

Please wish us some luck. And if you pray, say a quick prayer for us.
