J&K, I have around 12 petitions for the case status update, the ones with the same NOA1 date as mine Sept 15th. All last touched 10/03 before today. 3 of them were approved, leaving out 9 awaiting for action. Thats to your question about not yet approved Sept petitions. Its awful how they do it at VSC, but looks like they ve been entering the updates only today, while bunch was approved last week... we filed service request on friday and heard today, might be a coincidence maybe no, but call them if you havent yet... Good luck!

I am still here, waiting for the NOA2,i always follow about this topic, and happy some of our batch got approved, but i hope we will be next. this is really frustrating me,i missed my fiance so bad,and he feels the same way too. if only I could go to his place without Visa,i would rather just go visit him and wont be in a hurry waiting for NOA2. and oh,im just out of processing time,6 months is really out of the time frame. so come on VSC staff, show us that you are capable with your job. we want the fair treatment :)

I have called countless times. I've spoken to the Tier 2 people many times. I've placed an expedite request because of the Japan earthquake/tsunami/meltdowns. I contacted both of my senators and my congressman. I've contacted the Ombudsman. I have also emailed the USCIS National Headquarters. I have done everything I am legally allowed to do.

So far nothing is working. I was especially upset when my expedite request was just flat denied. Japan has some serious problems right not. Because I filed an expedite request they will not allow me place another service request until mid April.

I do not mean to point my anger and frustration at anyone here. I am just in desperate need to vent my despair.

I know it's cold comfort to you now, but i was feeling the exact same way last week, like every time I tried something I hit a dead end, and then this monday i contacted one of my senators again, and i was approved within the day. what im trying to say is, dont give up. they can't ignore you forever. make noise, be heard, do everything and anything you can, multiple times. itll work out. i wish you the absolute best of luck. who knows, maybe theyre gearing up for a huge movement of k1s in VSC soon, and thats why theres been so few lately

My fiance requested for an expedite 5mos after noa1 but was denied. He called again this morning and was allowed a service request on our case considering we are already outside their processing time, 6mos and 3days since noa1 today. Hoping to hear some good developments in the next few days. Goodluck to us all September filers.

I'm Sept 23 and still waiting. My senator got an expedite request approved last Wednesday, but no news yet. Hopefully soon. I'm visiting my fiance right now and would love to see our petition come to London before I leave at the end of April. Sad to think I wanted it to come by the end of February originally.... Good luck to everyone, especially the rest of us September filers!

APPROVED!!! Just yesterday I was crying out of "saudades" for my fiancee... today I spilled tears of joy! I know its not over yet and that this is just the first milestone in the process ahead, but I have to share the good news!

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE... if anything I highly encourage you to be active with your case!

If you are outside of "normal processing times" (which is about 6 months right now), contact USCIS, contact your senator, contact your congressman!

Thank you to many of you who have helped me get through these days with your own messages of success - I hope this helps someone stay positive for another day too.

I updated my timeline, but its not showing up yet for some reason...I will continue to do so along the way.

Post Decision Activity

On March 30, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.
