I would suggest calling your Senator's/Congressman's office and asking to speak with someone who handles immigrations requests. Talk to the specific person who's been assigned to handle your request. They get so many that it might not get much response from their part at first. It was my calling the person from my second Senator's office that didn't ask as quickly (and that ended up being good for me) that got that person to call immigration while I was on hold. And when that person was told that she could call back in 3 business days, I received the NOA2 email that evening.

One sent me a letter as well. But I'm sure it was someone in his office that mostly worked on it. They have staff in their state offices. and the Senators have several offices in each state. I'd still call and talk to someone.

I'd send letters to your Congressman and both U.S. Senators. I did that and a week later I had my NOA2....never know if they had any influence as two of the three replied back with the "5 month BS response" USCIS gave them and the third replied 5 days after my NOA2 saying "You were approved" which I knew -_-.

Either way, it is possible that they got annoyed or something happened when 3 US Representatives contacted them regarding 1 case. Never will know to be quite honest.

I had 2 senators inquire and USCIS did notice as they mentioned it in the email response. I did manage to get an expedition request approved, but I am still waiting for my NOA2. You were very lucky to get yours so quickly. Congratulations!

Yea I know :P. I literally fell out of my chair when I checked my email before I was about to go to bed that day (was looking for emails from work, not USCIS haha).

Just wish that USCIS was as fast with everyone elses as they were with mine.

Funny thing is. In the letters from my representatives, it stated that "we recieved the petition on October 1". They weren't going by the NOA1 date...just seemed odd to me.

they told me last week when they put in a service request that I would hear something today. I dont know if that means a decision or just confirmation of a service request. Do they send confirmations on that out a few days after you put one in?

So if I dont hear from them today then its back to the phone tomorrow.

We put in a service request on 3/15 and got an email today saying that our case is currently under review and we should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter. Does anyone know how long it may actually be? We were told a month ago our case was with someone...

this wait is so frustrating, it's driving us bonkers! haha its just so frustrating seeing people get approved with their NOA1 dates after ours and get expedites before our date... ours has been going for 6 months and 1 week tomorrow :( i emailed the congressman and senator yesterday, dont know if emailing is the best idea and how long they take to get back to u or if ringing is the way to go, calling the USCIS is useless, i tried calling them last week and they wouldnt put in a service request but some other people get them on dates after ours! ahhh just needed to vent, thank you for listening haha ;)
