And that's fine, but when someone else disagrees and tries to move on it is the other person's right that they don't have him interjecting on every post they make. Agree to disagree and move on but if someone else is choosing a different outlook don't harass them with dramatic accusations and statements that are based on nothing but guesswork and negative assumption thinking it will change their mind. I have repeatedly asked him to stop arguing with other posters and while I've given advice in hopes of him saving his sanity a little bit I overall accept his stance and accept it won't change. All that I'm asking for is the same respect in return.

Agreed

But please do not come here and argue with us. You argue every time we're trying to chat and support each other through this and try to steamroll everything we're saying whether there's any logic behind your side of it or not (and there often isn't). We get it. You're choosing to be pessimistic and miserable and obsessive. We aren't. You can have your pity party but stop picking apart everyone else is saying because we don't join in. Accept we feel differently and move on.

Well stated and agreed.

I'm going to start making use of the 'ignore posts' function. Just tired of seeing the overly dramatic "USCIS is ruining my life!!!" stuff. (I, for one, thank USCIS for working on my petition and allowing me to be with my love later on. Its certainly nice to be able to marry someone of my choosing.) :)

everybody chill! I say that including myself. I'm going to have to start living by the mantra "A watched pot never boils."

We are stronger than this. It's 5, 6, 7 months out of a lifetime. It's like a dentist appointment, sucks while you're in the chair, but after the visit you soon forget about the pain. That was a lame comparison but hopefully you get what i mean. It's easy to be consumed by the wait, but it's healthier to just get yourself excited about whatto do when the wait is over.

Let's just remember not to take out our frustrations on others. As people have said, we are all in the same boat.

 truce?

I like this one :)

I may just say everything gets to known in comparison. Think about it - as in other countries there are barely same thing as K1 fiance visa, there are spousal visas which take somewhat a year and half to get processed.

Not talking of Russia, tht not so long ago would make it completely impossible for its citizens to get out of a country even for a short trip. So things changed in your favor.

Yes, we are going to make inquiry as soon as we reach 5 months, but before that I would not cry over for something that inevitable anyways. It would be nice to get NOA2 in a shorter period and it suck tht we wont, but if you are confident in your relationships, it wont hurt.

Hi guys, I know that we should be staying positive...but it's really not fair that VSC is moving so slow...looking at all the CSC approvals is making me happy for them but sad for me. I am just really sick of waiting (as you are all too), but what is going on with VSC? Does anyone know why they are not moving as fast as we want them to? :crying:

I think we were all just discussing that the other day. It may be moving faster than we think due to lack of updates and non-VJ members applying. But, it also may be moving just as slowly as we think. It fluctuates and goes back and forth between CSC and VSC being efficient.

All we can do is countdown the days until we can start making phone calls.

It does suck, but we have to just hang in there.

CSC is moving at a faster rate than VSC now but from what I read, it fluctuates betweeen these two service centers so here's my two cents.....by the time VSC gets moving faster, they'll be wokring on September filers and that means we'll be next. That should be late February. I'm being real optimistic.

First of all... Hey, guys! The light of the group is here.

Am I too optimistic if I'm guessing NOA2 will come late February? I hope I'm not. :D I really want it and I rely on God. I always have. (F)

"Many of us have fiancees whose native tongue is not English" Really? This amused me, "tongue". Hihi

Secondly, I was catching up on posts and hit the "vote this post" button. On Kayla and Coconuts and a few others. Until it said: Action failed: You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day. I was simply rolling on the floor laughing. :D

About that, "A watched pot never boils". You know, it actually does. With the application of proper heat, the water will boil eventually, whether someone is watching or not. Seems very relevant for this situation. NOA2 is coming, sooner or later. It's a question of time. Depeche Mode. :D

As for refreshing the Igor's List page a million times a day, talk about missing the forest for the trees! There are so many things to do while waiting, honestly, keeping busy and doing useful things for this process, planning ahead(what you are able to plan)... Given the progress of USCIS. They are actually working, they're clearly not sleeping.

They can go through over 80,000 applications and still have a normal life. So yes, it's possible to have our NOA2 maybe sooner than we expect!!

27 NOV 2019 - I-129F mailed to Dallas, TX Lockbox

02 DEC 2019 - NOA1

23 MAR 2020 - NOA2

As far as we know the only thing abrewing at VSC is the government's kool-aid.

It really doesn't matter what is brewing at VCS, whether they are working on TPS, work visas, playing video games, or working on nuclear disarmament for North Korea and Iran. The effect on us is exactly the same.

If they are not working on I129f petitions, what they are or are not doing is absolutely irrelevant. I129f petitions are all that matter.

way to turn everything into a pessimistic statement. I meant my comment as a sign of optimism and encouragement. I didn't mean something bad was brewing, i meant maybe magic is in the air.

Much as i would love to be optomistic, I totally understand Al's pessimism. VSC has taken three months to get through the July petitions, Whilst CSC are now running at just about the 150 day goal.

Only one thing is for sure right now. We will not get our NOA2's by the five month mark
