http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm?State=WA Top right hand corner. Enter your state to look up your Senators.

Senators will have several offices all over your state. If you have one near you, do a walk in and tell them off your situation. They will advise you.

Sweet thanks! They have one close by. So I guess just walk in after the 5 month period? What do we say then? Its been after 5 months can the senator help us?

I would go in before that if i were you. We have had ours on board since month 3 of waiting. They will need a special signed form to look into your case at USCIS. If yours is nearby, then go and see them ASAP.

6-19-13------VSC Received our package. Signed for by K. Fitzgerald

6-24-13------Received NOA in the mail, dated 6-20-13

8-20-13------Case Transferred to CSC for further processing

So what do you do there..can you maybe give a brief explanation how it goes? Does it take me an entire day or a few minutes? Maybe also a stupid question, I see people write about congressman, is that the same as a senator?

Lol, no, not at all. Just thinking that by the time you get your NOA2 and get through your Embassy stage then a June wedding date should give you a bit more breathing space. I think April would have been pushing your luck.

Basic High School politics. I hope you are not the USC. Either way, it sounds like you need a better understanding of where you will be living. You will need too, by the time your civics test comes around in three years

Hey guys, its our 5th month,,, thts just crazy, very realistic would be to say we are facing more than 5 months wait. Timeline already got pushed to March :( sux.... CSC does way better *jealous* approving Aug petitions.

myself just got bck from vacation where i was with my fiance, which was good overall but we had few arguments that put me in a thinking position now. :wacko: and with this 'holly waiting' it makes things only worse....

oh well, we ll see... hope you all doing well and not getting too much down by the process (F)

Its 4 months since NOA1.....really thought NOA2 would have been here already. Oh well, hope its not too far away.

December '09 - Met via Facebook

~ Fell in love just a few months thereafter

7/18/2010 - I flew to Trinidad and met for the first time

~ Spent two weeks, one of which was in Tobago

9/9/2010 - Mailed I-129F to Texas via Express mail

9/15/2010 - NOA1 Date

4/4/2011 - NOA2 Date

4/12/2011 - NVC received

4/25/2011 - NVC sent via DHL to consulate

5/2/2011 - Packet mailed

7/25/2011 - Visa approved

We did too, but it will get better again !

You shud call VSC and ask for Immigration Officer Service, cuz you are qualified if you are over 5 months !

Thank you, Yankee Love, really hope the process wont mix the things up too much - cause if it wouldnt be in place thr wont be such emotions involved.

And yeh sorry to confuse you, I'm proud to be a Sept filer which means we are over 4 months, next month will be our 5 months of total waiting.

KiwiBird, cool, almost the same timelines, but languagewise I was correct - its our "5th" month meaning its in process - not yet finished to say its "5 months". If not how you call month from Sept to Oct, you call it "1st" month not "zero month" right? :) btw. just got back from Australia, its gorgeous over there !

p.s. its a long weekend again (Martin Luther King Day), so one day is thrown out of the working week - "Put your hands up in the air if you Dislike Holidays/Weekends while being in K1 process" :P

Oh that's right...yikes I'm working today so I forgot that it's a National Holiday here...hopefully the rest of the week will be VERY productive. They need to start sending off all of August's NOA2s NOW! At this point, I'm really hoping we get it by mid-March :/
