Okay Friends. For us to get our NOA2 before the five month mark then Vermont need to approve at least 8 petitions every day........Hmmmmmm, unlikely me thinks.

We all know by now that they are processing dates out of order, so all that we can hope for is that someone picks up a September box, by mistake, sometime soon.

I'm hoping that now they are back in full swing they'll pick up the pace. For us Decemberians, we're showing adjudication at 6 months instead of 5 . We need them to get through y'all fast!!!

Seeing a lot of petitions...well more than november and half of december combine being approved lately. So far 4 or 5 were approved before the new year in the final week of December and 1 that we know of was approved yesterday.

It 'looks' like VSC might be picking up...maybe...hopefully

Yeah, with Igors list showing 4 being approved yesterday it looks like VSC may be turning their attentions back to processing our petitions.

I will reserve judgement till i see the numbers for the rest of the week.

It is something but not enough. To get back onto the 5 month track we were promised in time for us September filers, they need to average 7 a day.

At 4 a day, we won't see ours until April.

yep, noticed they are back on track, though timeline pushed to March 6 - which s way more than 5 months of wait for NOA2.

waiting to hear good news from August filers, the whole month untouched ahead of us feels like 'nevergonnahappen'...

I am sure there are, since we are actually only a small fraction of all the K1s out there. But we don't have stats on them, only on us.

So I did some calculations based on VJ approvals vs. VJ total membership and extrapolated that out to the total K1 population. It is not perfect science, as Igor's list now has me about 3 weeks past my 5 month mark, not the 5 weeks I calculated myself at.

Let's see where it goes as January goes by. If we see at least 5 a day, we should be in at least reasonably good shape.

Keep in mind, with regards to Igor's List, that it's only accurate if people are filling in their timelines. There is a good chunk of the remaining July filers on Igor's List who haven't logged onto VJ since July/August/September/October/November so who knows where those people are in the process.

I allowed for that in my 7 per day calculation. The part I can't control is the % of approvals from day to day that are VJ members. That % can easily be 20% one day and 2% the next. So I don't think we can get reliable data for at least two more weeks.

Just checked the list. Looks like we got 5 NOA2s on January 3 and 1 January 4 (So far from people who have updated).

Hope it keeps on going like this for the other months as well. They spent about a month or two on the Work Visas and other fall visas...so hopefully the next month or so is spend on K-1s and getting them knocked out.

I think that most of the updates will come in at night, after the work day is done, so the fact that there is only 1 for Jan 4 so far is not indicative of anything. We need to wait until people have access to their home mailboxes before getting any meaningful tally for any given day.
