Geez!!............. Half way through the week, and still no approvals!

No joke, i am afraid. What bugs me the most is that we paid the most to file, yet our petitions get stuck in limbo. September filers from last year were getting approved, on average, after two months.

The service centers are going to have a whole lot more congressional requests very soon, if not already.

I'm just curious as to what their going rate is for approvals per day. I mean, I'm sure they have a TON of petitions, and each one will take a little time, but how many people are working on them? How many do they get through in a day? I'm hoping they are increasing staffing to get through these.

I'm sure they don't TRY to make us wait forever, but it sure sucks that's kind of what happens. :(

Unfortunately adjudicators are being resourced to petitions other than I-129F's. Have a look at this http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=21&office=6&charttype=1 They pushed out, close to 84760 completiions on the Temporary Protected Status petitions for the month of September. Compared to 1411 completions on I-129F's for the same month. That is one reason why both centers are up to the full 5 month processing time.

Yeah... Checking receipt numbers around me, I found many many Protected Status petitions and EADs and all that. I'm hope we can get our NOA2 at least at the end of January.

I wish they'd update that chart to show October and November, too...

How is it possible to look up a Field Office, and see a couple I-129F's approved? I thought they were all routed to the big Service Centers... and none of the Field Offices do these petitions...

I think, not 100% sure, it is because of the fact that people going after a spousal visa have to fill in an I-129F too. Sometimes these are forwarded to the petitioners local field office for an interview, prior to approval of that part of their process.

January 24 - February 1??? Wow... That's bad news. :bonk: But it maybe be since they're still working on July and August Filers. God... Where are those times when a K-1 was completed at USCIS in a month or two. And the worse that could have happened was to get an approval in 3 months. Haha. Now all of us are looking at the 5th month...

Usually I think the worst about this stuff, but honestly, this is how I feel about this... I am hoping that since they are working on files other than the I-129F that maybe they all get placed back on them soon to catch up, and start kicking out I-129F's for the August-December filers quickly.

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between January 19, 2011 and January 27, 2011*. If only we could have our NOA2 in January so that I could be with my sweetie in February!
