It's always nice to remember we aren't the only people who have to go through it. :) I always cry - I can never keep it together. Andy does better at the actual goodbye moment but he's the one tearing up the few days before. This part is only temporary, though, right? That's what I have to keep telling myself.

yes only temporary you will back in each others arms in no time......Good luck the rest of the way

Well, I hear you girls... I'm always like: Oh, this time I'll be... Courage. :) BS, I cannot stop my tears. :D I don't cry like a baby, but I always feel so hopeless, so alone and... useless, honestly. Because I cannot leave with him. The moment he passes the security zone, I realize that there's nothing I can do to go with him(I don't have a visitor visa), I have to wait for K-1.

Anyway... Now that we started the process and we've just received the NOA1 hard copy last week, I feel like I'm a step closer to my sweetie. Let's all hope we'll be approved fast and that we'll be there, with our loved ones, for Christmas. Haha, wishful thinking, again. Maybe it's too much what I ask, but who knows?! :P:thumbs:

If you go to the USCIS website, you are able to create an account there. Click on the left hand side where it says "Sign Up for Case Updates" or something like that. You'll create a username and password, and enter in your case number. When you sign in, it will show your petition and it will show you the last day it was updated. The "last update" = touch.

Oh, thank you, Coconuts. We have an account already, but I didn't know the touch was the last update. Now I know. :P
