Be grateful you're with VSC... those are the days my timeline gives as well and I filed a month earlier.

Question: Regarding the income tax returns. What are the exact forms that we need? W-2 and... what else? I'm still confused though I've been told about this a while ago. I must have forgotten something... Many thanks!

What they need for the proof of income is if I remember right:

W-2,

Income tax return(getting the official one is nice from the IRS.)

Letter from employer

I think they also want the tax returns up to 3 years.

I can't remember if there was anymore that was required for people over the 125% line.

not to worry since things have slowed down soooo much We decided Nigel would come home for the holidays and booked his flight this morning.....you know what this means??? processing will no doubt speed up now and screw up the holiday plans lol

Lucky guy! i wish i were going over there, or Crystal was coming over here, for the holidays.

I think you guys are pretty safe, as far as the processing goes. With Vermont still on July filers, i can't see us getting NOA2 untill mid december at the earliest. It will then take a week to go through NVC and then a week or two till packet 3 is sent out. One way or another, we will get further delayed with them breaking for the holiday season. Oh Joy!!

If your NOA2 comes mid december then you can track the progress of it after the NVC stage.

we bounced it back and forth for awhile not sure what we should do...but i think a visit will help keep our minds busy... plus kids are only young for alil while so every holiday is important...we arent telling them its going to be a major suprise!! weve planned a 4 week visit...he plans to go back jan. 23rd and if he had to rush back that would be a good thing right?... i dont predict the approval till feb or march reallly... all 3 centers would have to increase productivity greatly!! ... he can sneek you in his suit case if ya like ...this wait is a killer...
