Hi ! I just wanted to welcome you all and say good luck.... I see some of the September 2009 "Family" have already stopped in to welcome you :)

Hold on tight..it's going to be one heck of a bumpy ride, but will be worth it in the end. This group is going to become like your family and you are going to rely on each other more than you probably realize.

I had a pang of sadness, when I saw this thread, and realized the journey for our 2009 group is almost at an end ( at least for the next two years :))... but I think we are all happy to turn over the job to all of you. Any time any of you need any help or advice, I am sure we will be here to help you!!

I work for an amusment park, so as we say in my world.. "Sit upright, hold on tight and... enjoy the ride"

Good luck from a September 2009 filer. I hope that you guys can be as close as we were and still are. The road might be bumpy but remember that you've always got each other and that's the best thing to have. I wish your group the best of luck because you're carrying our torch on for us. Our month was relatively quick and smooth, so I hope you guys have the same!!

If anyone needs help, advice, or for us to send fingers and toes for you, let us know. We're happy to help out a friend in need.

Question: Did you guys have to send it to the lockbox in Dallas aswhele?

Yes, everyone must send the I-129F package to the Dallas Lockbox. The USCIS consolidated all of their paperwork intake to centralized locations. I-129F's go to Dallas, I-130's go to Chicago, ect....

From there they will forward it to the proper Service Center.

The goodbyes are the worst. I always tell myself that I'll be a big girl next time, and not make a scene at the airport, but I can never quite manage it.. We're all in this together!

It's always nice to remember we aren't the only people who have to go through it. :) I always cry - I can never keep it together. Andy does better at the actual goodbye moment but he's the one tearing up the few days before. This part is only temporary, though, right? That's what I have to keep telling myself.
