Congrats andy --its about time

*giggle* It's actually Kayla posting 99% of the time - Andy reads, though. :)

I'm so happy to see everyone moving along! Congratulations to all of our recent approvals!

Sorry I've been lax on the updates post-NOA2 - I was lucky enough to be able to spend a week with Andy over Easter. :luv: We had a wonderful visit and it definitely recharged us for the rest of our wait (which could still be on the lengthy side, thanks Montreal! ).

We called DOS last Monday and NVC hadn't received our case yet. We didn't call for the rest of the week because we were too busy enjoying our visit and I got back to Ontario Thursday evening, then worked all day Friday. I called first thing this morning and the lady informed me that NVC did receive our case sometime last week and sent it off to Montreal on Friday.

Our case sent back to USCIS by State Department for review. Got in email confirmation today. Stressed and Frustrated.

What?! :( I'm so sorry. I would be frustrated too. Any news on why yet?

so. stuck in AP for at least a month, but thankful that the guy at the window said it was likely that we'll get approved.

who else has had interviews?? anyone else in AP?

So sorry to hear. :( I have a friend (not a September filer, though) who's fiance was in AP, and they just recently got through and he's over with her now. I hope yours ends quickly.

We filed ours and it was received on the 9th September 2010.

We had the approval letter sent out in April, then an email a few days later saying it is now under review at the USCIS. So we are unsure what is happening now - just waiting to hear.

Hi M :)

Glad to see you here at last.

We filed in September too, and I am *hopefully* at the interview stage. I called DoS but no word yet - then again they only had my DS-2001 for one working day.

EDIT: Scratch that, we were sent to CSC... Disregard :P

David.

I have a question, what do you think it means when they changed our status to "please submit passport" when they already are holding on to his passport? do you think we are approved? It hasn't said this until today.

the embassy emailed and said we did get approved, i was just worried because they kept his passport at the interview because he already had a visitor's visa and they didn't want him leaving the country while this visa was pending. he left it as collaterol so they wouldn't cancel the visitor's visa. He promised he would stay put.

Now we have this fiance visa, the one we had our hearts set on, but we are awaiting delivery from Aramex and have no idea how long that will take.

I am just beside myself with nerves and happiness that he will get to come to my bridal shower and meet my family ahead of the actual wedding!

We couldn't have gotten this far without the help on this forum and visajourney as a whole. You guys are so great! I am wishing only the best and fastest reunion for all of you!

I feel like I have fallen way behind now. China holds every visa that gets mailed to the consulate for like 3 weeks for security reasons ugh. My girl is just now sending the P3 back to the consulate. I think we will still have a month and a half until her interview. Oh well it will come soon. Better than waiting on VSC for 6+ months.

I support the idea of knowing how many more of us yet waiting for Big Day of interview, as well as for those who received visas occasionally pop up to update on their happy family life together. :P

2 weeks untill I go to Moscow, in 3 w is my interview, time goes sooooo slowwwwww. Though I would admit I havent filled the forms yet, I think its about time to start B-)

Hope you all doing great !

Ritchel passed her medical in Manila and got her immunizations yesterday. Her arms are sore and she's tired but we are getting close to the interview.

The interview is scheduled for 5/19 at 7:00PM. Does anybody know how hard it is to reschedule for an earlier date or time?

With luck she might be here for her birthday on 6/9.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

Tim in Tuscaloosa
