What are Muslims expected to do to effectively deal with it?

Here would be a good start. Everytime a loony tune Radical Cleric issues a fatwa of death, openly, loudly, and convincingly condemn the issuer of said fatwa. I know, I know, it is much more productive to spend your time telling non-Muslims what idiots we are for believing these issuers of death threat fatwas have anything to do with Islam in your view. But try what I suggest. If just half of the 93% of non-Radical Muslims participated, their voices would be 6 times greater than the loonies!

Why do you think that would be effective? Because extremists care what we say? Because so many many non-Muslims have noticed over the years when individuals and organizations have spoken out? You are aware that don'tn't all know each other or all belong to the same organizations, or even agree on everything, right?

Where would you like for us to go to get the attention speaking out hasn't gotten so far? Where are you waiting for us to be? I'm not even sure if you know who "we" are and if you would know who we are if you saw us. Up til now, your track record of finding us has sucked. You have some responsibility to notice that remains unfulfilled.

This is an interesting story. A day or so after 9/11, a denunciation, a fatwa, was issued by a famous Muslim group often in the news. The irony of their denunciation of the violence on that day and their repudiation of Al Qaeda and Bin Laden is staggering and definitely newsworthy, but I'll bet few who demand denunciations even saw it.

The Muslim group that was hating on Al Qaeda.is Hezbullah, another terrorist group.

Hezbollah is now part of the Lebanese government unlike Al Qaeda who doesn't have a country. In my opinion Hezbollah is very necessary unless you want all of south Lebanon to become part of Israel....yeah I am sure most of you would love that but it won't happen. Yeah and guess what people....tons of CHRISTIANS in Lebanon support Hezbollah. Anyone who opposes or stands up to Israel is suddenly labeled as terrorist....it's ridiculous. Of course most people on here only listen to Fox and CNN so no matter what you tell them Soffiya they will never see the full picture. Ok sheeple you should have a field day with this

The reason the US doesn’t want people to view Hizbullah favorably is because Nasrallah is actually intelligent, he’s an intellectual (contrary to what most might know of him). He has also become a prominent figure in the region, because his politics make sense to regular citizens. But that don’t fit in neatly with America’s dabbling in the Middle East, because the rest of the region’s political leaders follow America’s orders blindly, where as Hizbullah actually speak what they believe.

If people in the West were to know any truth about that situation it would surely jeopardize Israel’s agenda, and expose their own terrorism. And who better than Hizbullah to deflect attention away from Israel. They are Muslim after all (naturally-as is the majority of the region ) and since most people in the West already equate Islam with violence it works perfectly for America and Israel.

The Christians in Lebanon supporting Hizbullah are also part of an alliance party together with Nasrallah (the March 8th Alliance, making 50% of the Lebanese Government). Then there’s the other camp of Christians and Muslims (March 14th Alliance) making up the other half. They do however all sit in the same parliament together discussing the politics of their country.

A perfect example of SAME religion opposition, and cross-religious collaboration. But who wants to believe that actually takes place in the Middle East.
