Hi,

Iam on H1B married to a USC.We filed for AOS in July. Everything was going pretty smoothly. I alredy have my Advace Parole and my EAD. We had an intrview schduled on Sept 25th but i got a notice saying that my interview has ben cancelled due to unforseen circumtances. Idid some research and found that it is not very unusal for that to happen.

My only concern is that i have a lot of activities coming up n the next few months. I am moving to a different state to be with my husband (we live separately now). I am quiting my job and will be losing my H1 status consequently. I am also planning a trip bck to my homecountry for abouta month and a half. I am just curious as to how this is going to play out with the rscheduling of my interview.Has anyone been in a similar situation before?

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to "Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas" as you are adjusting from a H1B visa and the prior forum is for K1, K2, K3 & K4**
